Plaza Lexus

I’ve purchased two used vehicles from Plaza in the past few years and they’ve been fine each time. I do wish their customer service waiting area was nicer, I have started taking my vehicles out to Jay Wolfe because their area is much nicer but I buy my cars from Plaza (lol). Each purchase was simple and easy. However after the last purchase I kept getting phone calls and emails from them for weeks after I already bought the car asking when I was going to come in and test drive! Think they need to get their inventory system figured out. I would buy from them again.

READ TO THE END — What makes a great dealership, is the service after the sale. A dealer you can trust to have your best interests at heart. The dash on my 2008 RX350 began getting sticky and pieces started pealing off in 2014. A recall was offered by Lexus and the Plaza Motors service consultant, Joe, really followed up, getting me the new dash and the installation, at no cost. Plus, they gave me a new Lexus to use overnight while my car was being fixed. I was very impressed with the service and the dealership. I would have rated it 5+ star service. BUT…
…Here’s why I rated their service so low. When I came to pick up the car, Joe informed me that there was a serious leak in the power steering line — it needed to be repaired right away and was going to be $ 1800.00! He said I could keep the loaner another night, as my car would be unsafe to drive if the power steering went out. I almost said OK, but I didn’t want to pay this sum without a second opinion. I took my car, promised to stay off the highway and went to a trusted repair shop for an estimate. They told me there was NOTHING wrong with the power steering — no leak what-​so-​ever, not even any seepage! I would have paid $ 1800 for a service I didn’t need. What happened here? Had they confused cars and would have «fixed» mine anyway? Did somebody drive away needing repairs? I don’t have any idea.

I am terribly disappointed in Plaza Lexus’ Service Department… after servicing my car for two days with escalated prices, my car stopped. The roadside assistant commented that my battery that I purchased in 2012 looked as if it was 10 years old. I go back to the dealer and service manager Aimee Fulgham told me it was just the luck of the draw that my battery went dead. Even though there’s a warranty on the battery I was told there is a prorated fee. My hood which was working perfectly will not stay up and of course Aimee said «yea that happens». I wish I could give them a half star.

I have been to the dealership after keeping the vehicle for one week to tell me the part is on back order… I have called countless times no return call… it is now Oct 26, 2015 and my sunroof still hasn’t be repaired… What I find hard to believe is that when they thought it was a out of pocket expense they had all the parts but now that Plaza has agreed to pay for parts and repairs everything is on back order…

Never again! I was treated with such disrespect. It’s like they assumed that I wasn’t purchasing a Lexus as soon as I walked in there. I needed to get my car serviced (because I bought a used car from their dealership) and they actually told me that I can go anywhere to get my car serviced. Like my used Rav4 was bad for business. And on top of that, the lady who sold me my warranty flat out lied and said that my warranty had no deductible. That was my fault because I should have told her to point that out to me in the paperwork or I should have read the paperwork more carefully but don’t lie to get a sale. Plaza Lexus is the reason that I hate large car dealerships and I hate car salespeople. Car salespeople are sleazy and sneaky and will do anything to get that sale. I will never purchase another vehicle from this dealership, regardless of the price. Very disappointing but probably typical of large car dealerships.

The worst service possible the bathrooms are gross and the clientele is horrible
, I walk in with my buddy trying to lease a car and Jackie shows up. off and on for about a week and a half we exchange prices for lease and I come to conclusion I want to spend $ 325 a month with zero money down. on the last day she says, «come on in and we’ll see what we can do and she thinks she says that she can give me to that price on the Lexus NX i want for the price i want.» I come in and after about an hour and a half sitting there she comes back and she tells me I have to put $ 10,000 down and its gonna be 500 a month. I told her I wanted to spend the 325 to 365 range of month… she played games with me. tons of people are sitting there in the lobby waiting for their car to be fixed and they have mixed results about Lexus. I’m just finding out Lexus has a bad rep this year as one of the lowest rank cars sedans and SUVs. and then Jackie kept calling me asking me which car did I get if I got one in another place. she didn’t stop bothering me for about 2 days. Do not recommend this buisness

I wake up with a flat tire the other day.
After calling around, I find out the maintenance dept in my building has an air compressor and they are kind enough to fill the tire with enough air to get me to work.
After several hours at work, I check said tire on my break and discover it’s losing air fast.
A coworker suggested taking it to the service department at Plaza Lexus since it’s within walking distance and I do just that on my lunch hour after calling ahead first (because I own an older Honda).
I was met with lots of snootiness and disgusted looks because, yes, I’ve been struggling financially since a layoff in 2009 and my car is older. After several snide comments and questions about the validity of me calling to make an appointment prior to stopping by, they said they could take care of it so I dropped it off. (Only because I didn’t have any other option).
Three hours later I get a call stating «your tire cannot be patched and we do not carry «K-​Mart tires» to replace it them… but they did put enough air in it to possibly get me to another service station… wow.
(For reference, my tires were Firestone tires from Dobbs so the «K-​Mart» comment was definitely meant as an insult)
I was recently hired at an employer making more money. When I am in a financial position to afford a Lexus in the future, I will NEVER even THINK about it if those are the types of people I would be dealing with.

My sale lady Jackie was the best in getting my car delivered to me ! I love my Lexus RX 350 SUV. Plaza Lexus IS where I driving all my friend to see Jackie !

If I could give less than 1 star for their service department I would. I have brought my Lexus here for an oil change twice (2times)!!! The first time my husband told me I didn’t need an appointment. I was there 2 hours! Oops — next time I’ll make an appointment. I called for an appointment on Wednesday May 27^th. The first available appointment was one week later!!! I showed up today for my 11:00AM appt. When I pulled in and gave them my keys I was told to wait in the lounge and someone would come get me. Indeed, someone came and got me 45 minutes later. Was my car ready? NO, of course not. They were just now ready to see what I wanted done. Duh! I made an appointment for an oil change. I was told it would take 1 ½ hours. FOR AN OIL CHANGE? «We do an all comprehensive check blah blah blah blah. Please enjoy our free popcorn in the lounge.» It is now 12:00 — what was the purpose of having an 11:00 appointment? At 1:40 a rep came to tell me that my car needed new tires, new brakes and an alignment and wanted to know if I wanted it done today. I MADE AN 11:00 APPT ONE WEEK AGO FOR A SIMPLE OIL CHANGE. The rep now had to leave several times to talk to the technician (I can only assume my oil change wasn’t done yet), and to talk to a manager. After 20minutes he told me my car was done and in line to be washed. I asked him to go get it. I didn’t car if it was washed. I pulled out of Plaza Lexus parking lot at 2:05 in a dirty car that had an oil change. Three hours folks! GOODBYE PLAZA LEXUS

I have tried to contact you 4 times and have left messages. So far no response from your end. Is there another way to contact you. Also have been driving my car without a passenger side airbag since ¹¹⁄₂₀₁₄. That was a recall I was supposed to get in 1 months time.

This place is appalling. My husband and I saw a car on AutoTrader and drove here to view/​test drive it. We walked in and nothing. Ten plus minutes and no one so much as acknowledged our presence. Being pregnant, I went to the restroom and passed multiple offices of sales people sitting there. Not one acknowledged me. When someone finally did ask if we had been helped, we were disgusted. He introduced himself as the GM, he apologized for our wait, and said he would get us a sales person. All while reeking of his freshly smoked cigarette. Our sales person approached and quickly sent us up to their used car «shack.» The whole experience was disgusting. We were ready to pay cash and buy and were treated like poor trash that couldn’t be bothered with. Won’t be back, won’t recommend. You don’t make sales with bad service and snooty attitudes.

Without these 2 as our «A» team, we would NOT have purchased a vehicle in St. Louis, MO while living in Phoenix, AZ.
Robert Rogers was INCREDIBLE to work with, accommodating, responsive on answering questions, picking my husband up from the airport, and has high integrity!
We got the vehicle we wanted at the price we agreed upon and a good interest rate too!

Ok let me start by saying our Lexus it’s self gets 5 stars! With that said there’s a couple things that annoyed me here, first we bought all the protection packages (which there was like 5 and was an extra like $ 5,000) and didn’t look closely at the SUV until we got home. When we did there was a scratch on the drivers side door that went thru the paint, not big but deep enough that it had to have been there when we bought the vehicle. When we took it in expecting a good fix for the BRAND NEW almost $ 60,000 SUV they fixed it with what appeared to be a simple scratch kit. So we complained dropped it off again before we left for Seattle to visit some friends we visit and stay with once a year and when we returned it was no better. We were forced into buying or waiting 6+ months for the one we really wanted. They also gave us the wrong paper work and to this day we STILL receive things in the mail for our vehicles VIN # and the mix up vehicles VIN #! Wish we had read the reviews here first we may have looked harder for problems and at the least avoided leaving the lot with a scratched vehicle. When looking at a vehicle with this Lexus dealer THOROUGHLY inspect the vehicle for imperfections and other things! I will tell you we love our Lexus it’s like driving a lazy boy recliner lol. I’m going with Mercedes when I buy a car.

I recently purchased a Lexus vehicle from Plaza, and the experience could not have been worse. I was dead-​set on buying the vehicle when I walked in, and they almost blew a 100% surefire sale. I am only writing this review in hopes that they change their ways, since I am stuck with them for maintenance visits over the next few years.
My first issue: the purchase process took about 5 hours, even though I was prepared to buy (full cash purchase, no financing) when I walked in. We didn’t even do a test drive. I had already made up my mind. This is wayyyy to long, in my opinion. I walked in at 10am and couldn’t leave until 3pm.
Second, when you get to the «contract signing» stage, the financing lady does not just have you sign the papers and take the keys. Instead, she gives you a whole dog and pony show/​sales pitch on some $ 1200 «protective coating» and interior ScotchGarding treatment. She claims that the coating will protect your car from acidic bird poop that will permanently damage most cars. I’m sorry, lady, but I’ve owned 10 cars over the last 30 years and I’ve never had bird poop eat through the exterior paint. What a crock of birds**t (pun fully intended).
And, she doesn’t stop there — she tries to get you to buy a ridiculous service warranty, which requires you to pay $ 2000 – 5000 up front to create a drawing account that you can use towards future repairs. It’s just about the dumbest product I have ever encountered. Dear Plaza, there’s something called INTEREST that you can earn on $ 5000 over the course of 8 years… interest that I am just GIVING TO YOU FOR FREE if I give you $ 5000 up front for repairs I might need in 2020. I can’t imagine the number of financial professionals who probably burst into uncontrollable laughter when given the sales pitch for this «warranty» account. To top it off, the lady would NOT stop hounding me and trying to change my mind on these third-​party, after-​market products after I clearly stated «No» to each of them. She tried to make me feel like I was stupid for rejecting the offers. I was 3 seconds away from telling her to cancel the entire purchase and refund my deposit.
This was one of many luxury car purchases I have made in my lifetime, and the whole experience felt cheap and I felt like I was being baited into a scam the whole time. This is NOT how a luxury car dealership should operate, and this dealership should absolutely be slapped on the wrist by Lexus (Toyota Motors) for running such a slipshod, cheap, dirty operation.

I was in the market for a luxury sportscar. After test driving a new CTS-​V at Plaza Cadillac I stopped in to Plaza Lexus to check out the IS-​F.
Mind you I was driving an expensive car, and was dressed accordingly. I got no hesitation from the Cadillac dealership to test drive a 556 hp V coupe, and when I stopped by Audi to check out a TT-​S they threw me the keys and let me and my wife test drive it alone.
But when I stepped into the Lexus dealership to look at the F model the salesman was giving me the evil-​eye the entire time, acting like I wasn’t good enough to test drive his car. When I inquired about taking it for a spin he told me it would take about 20 minutes to get it out and it’d be better if I came back in a week. He also questioned whether I had the experience for the 416 hp engine. Evidently he didn’t process the fact that I said I was driving a first-​generation 400 hp CTS-​V.
Needless to say I didn’t go back. I ended up going with the V coupe, and I couldn’t be happier.
This experience has soured me on Plaza Lexus.
