History

Established in 2013.

Monster Performance Center (MPC) is owned by a local man who has experience in racing, High Performance Aftermarket industry and also races a 1969 Chevy Chevelle.

In 2013 MPC joined the Crete Chamber of Commerce and then in 2015 MPC was honored to be accepted as a member of the Better Business Bureau.

My first car was a 1977 Pontiac Grand Prix SJ… My friends nick-​named it the Smokin 400. After I blew up the original motor, I put in a built motor out of a Trans Am. Unfortunately, it had no gear or stall so it was a pig, but once it got moving it would fly. :)

I was always interested in drag racing. This comes from going to US 30 with my dad and watching it when it was on ABCs Wide World of Sports…

My favorite memory is the only time my dad rode in my 1969 Chevelle (which to this day I still have and still race)…At the time he was pretty sick with cancer. One night I brought it by his house to show him some of the mods I had finished on it. He really didn’t like me wasting my money on it even though he was a gear head himself. He surprised me and asked me to take him for a ride, so I get on it a bit and he says «I thought you were going to show me what this could do». So here we are in the middle of Michigan City Road, I put it on the trans brake and let it fly.
