Well currently this place is a liquor store only. They no longer serve food! So they should probably update the business name. Also it’s a pretty dirty place, and last week they opened 1hr after the posted time. So if your desperate for Booze, Stop in. Other wise, carry on!!!

I’ve noticed they are not honest with their prices. There is a different price displayed and they charge a different one(higher) at the cash register. Please look at that closely next time you shop there.

This place has really plummeted since I was last here. The deli is nearly empty, no lights in the case and a dirty pan to catch dripping condenstation. I was last here around a year ago. At that time It was a nice little neighborhood deli with a cold case and a nice selection of carry out hot items. Now it looks like it is failing miserably and ready to go out of business

Polish carryout in the back of a stripmall liquor store. Sure, sounds good to me! One may be skeptical, but that’s what led me to try this spot in the first place, and I have been hooked. They have a deli case packed with Polish classics that will keep you coming back. Several pierogi, fantastic kielbasa that’s smoked just enough for me, potato pancakes, golabkis(stuffed cabbage)… that’s just the start of it. Take a look at the pics for a peak at Polish goodness. Lots to choose from, all cooked and ready to go. It’s a carryout only place, so load up and head home for dinner. Food is served 11a — 7p Monday thru Saturday. They’re closed on Sunday. Prices are ridiculously cheap: $ 5.99 for a meat and 2 sides or $ 7.49 for 2 meats and 2 sides. Half-chicken and 2 sides for $ 7.99. Whole chicken and potatoes for $ 7.99. How they do it and keep the quality so high, I have no idea, but I’m lovin’ it. As for the liquor store side, fairly typical low-brow south burb options. They have a few options from Bells, Sierra, etc. Otherwise the Millers and Buds dominate. That’s OK. This ain’t a liquor store review. This is a Polish Deli review. And for Polish food dished out of the back of a liquor store… Unilocal, this has to be as good as it gets.

This Polish Deli is delicious! And the people that work here are always so helpful and grateful for your business, no matter how much your spending. I never like polish cuisine til I came here!

While driving by one day I saw a sign proclaiming EUROPEANBUFFET. Of course I had to stop in. The place is essentially a liquor store and deli. The deli meat case is rather well-stocked. There are about 20 hot food choices and two soups. There is no place to sit down so its essentially carry out. The hot food is priced a la carte or $ 7.95 for a carryout with two-meats and two sides. Sometimes the choices are not your typical Eastern European grub, for example, crab cakes and spinach stuffed shells. The food seemed to be typical Polish buffet. The place can be busy at lunchtime, and attracts a varied cliente, consturction workers looking for lunch, local residents, and East Europeans(Russian, Ukranian, Lithuanian) looking for their fix of pork, potato and cabbage. And in that respect the place doesn’t disappoint.
