History

Established in 2011.

Upbeat Music was founded by experienced music store managers to address the needs of musicians. schools, bands and churches in Northwest Florida, particularly in the northern parts of Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Escambia and Walton counties. Prior to opening our business the closest music store to most of these areas was about an hour and a half round trip. To students (& parents) taking lessons, musicians needing band supplies, rentals and repairs this was an ongoing problem. We decided to open our store in Crestview, Fl which is the Okaloosa county seat and home to some of the largest school music programs in the state.

Since opening in 2011 we have been repeatedly recognized as a Top 100 Music Retailer worldwide by the National Association of Music Merchants and have grown our facility to include private lesson studios, an acoustic showroom featuring fine instruments from Fender Martin, Deering and Seagull and have full service repair facilities for band instruments, guitars & amps.
