History
Established in 1990.
While working closely together at a sports medicine facility in New York City in the late 1980’s, Matthew Gibble, PT and Gary Flink, MSPT envisioned the opening of a New Jersey based practice that would set the standards for providing high quality orthopedic physical therapy care. In 1990, they founded Excel Orthopedic Physical Therapy and opened the doors to their Fort Lee office. Since then, they recognized a need for highly skilled orthopedic physical therapy in other areas of Bergen County and opened additional offices in Oakland, Hackensack, Waldwick, Rutherford, Cresskill, Montvale, and Mahwah. Today, EXCEL remains one of the premier, long-standing facilities in Bergen County, where many physicians confidently refer their patients for their rehabilitative needs.
