Do you want to learn to scuba dive but don’t want to break the bank? We provide everything you need, no need to purchase expensive gear! We have classes available to just try out scuba to see if it is for you, to get your certification or to become a dive professional (Divemaster). We also will help you with your next trip to enjoy your new skill! Ages 10 to 90! Birthday parties available for 8 yrs old and older. Air fills and rental gear available. Call us today! History

Established in 2009.

For many years Rena helped others with diving instruction. After leaving a large dive shop in town as the General Manager, she began her own business, Rena’s Scuba School and Travel. She felt she wanted to focus more on the individual needs of the student and as an independent owner/​operator she would be able to fulfill her philosophy of customer service, individualized training and a love for scuba.

Rena learned to dive in Okinawa in 1978 while serving with the US Army. She has been assisting with dive lessons for many years as a diver and Divemaster. She obtained her Open Water Instructor certification in 2009. In June of 2013 she went on to further her instructor rating to IDC Staff Instructor. Her focus is individualized training from Discover Scuba DIving to Divemaster training. She has flexible classes and wants to be sure you have your own special needs met. Rena is also a Registered Nurse and holds a Master of Science. She uses her love of science to expand the experience of the dive certification.

Rena not only holds an IDC Staff Instructor certification with PADI, she also is a Specialty Instructor for multiple certifications to include, Boat Diver, Drift Diver, Peak Performance Bouyancy Diver, O2 Provider, Emergency First Responder, CPR, AED, Underwater Navigator, Search and Recovery, Underwater Photographer, Night Diver, and more!
