Custom WoodWorks specialized in the creation of fine furniture one piece at a time. We create antique reproductions for our clients, restore and repair antique radios and build furniture to meet our client’s specifications.

History

Established in 1985.

Although we have only been in the Crescent City, California area for nine years now, our business was first established in Alabama and then relocated to Ventura, California. We have clients throughout the United States and our clients are repeat customers who also recommend us to their friends. We have the ability to recreate pieces of furniture from a picture, drawing, photograph or take measurements from the original.

Over these past 35 years I have had the pleasure to produce some wonderful works of art for my clients, who enjoy them each and every day. One of the newer tasks I decided to take on was the repair and restoration of antique radios. When working correctly these older radios produce a sound that is impossible to reproduce from today’s modern radios and the beauty of the cases speak for themselves.

Most of our clients have only an idea, which we put down on paper, refine it and recreate it for years of enjoyment. Each piece is handcrafted with only the best wood, veneer and hardware.
