Ok, so I run an online business. Hubby also telecommutes. It’s nice to get out of the house sometimes and see«people» although you’re not reporting to an office per se. We thought it was cool to see an internet café open up in Creedmoor. Pretty progressive for this town(we thought). Um, this ain’t no internet café. 1st red flag — place smelled like cigarettes and vodka 2nd red flag– strung out cashier 3rd red flag — customers already in there looked like they might get a visit from Chris Hansen soon. They received the major side eye from me when the cashier told me it was $ 5 per 20 minutes of internet which she kept referring to as «play» time. I’ll stop right there. Please Google the term«Internet Café and Sweepstakes». Apparently, this type of business tiptoes on the gray area of NC gambling laws.
