Studio B

I have been seeing Mallory here for a while and she is excellent! My hair was in rough shape from too much bleach when we met and she has given me a much nicer subtle blonde and my hair has been growing ever since. She’s very laid back and very nice to talk to. The staff is really nice as well. It’s worth the money!

Everyone who works here is very friendly! They also did a wonderful job with my hair. I went in for a haircut and Kelly did a great job!

Still a favorite place, and Kelly is so good with cut and color. Having never colored my hair I was pretty nervous when I was asked to go Hollywood blonde for a recent role. Kelly took such care when bleaching my hair and then we explored a pretty lavender shade when the play had closed. I have returned to brunette and again, Kelly found the right shade and process! 4 colors since February.

YES! Caroline is not only very sweet and approachable but she also has great talent in hair styling. My first visit was quite recently and I will absolutely be a return customer :) Thank you Studio B!

I had my hair balayage, cut and blown out by Brittiani L it looks amazing! She explained to me what to expect and delivered! I have very thick curly hair and lot of dark color, she was able to lift the color without damage. Came out so shiny. People keep stopping me to ask who does my hair:-) Brittiani was very knowledgable on the process. Best blow out too. Thank you!

All I can say is wow. A group of 8 of us came in for hair/​makeup for my sister’s wedding and all walked out of the salon feeling amazing. Each stylist/​makeup artist took their time and listened to our wants and needs. There were a total of 5 – 6 different gals working with us and each was professional and very skilled. My makeup/​hair turned out exactly how I wanted it to look. And my sister looked like a blushing bride. If ur thinking about booking with Studio B for a wedding party definitely do it!

Just left my regular barbershop to try out a different experience at a salon. I left this place feeling brand new. Sometimes your reg barbershop doesnt have that extra touch that a salon does. They wash and shampoo your hair. Brittani Levesque, the hair stylist did an excellent job cutting my hair and styling it. She was very friendly and knowledgable. I would highly recommend her to anyone. The only downfall was that I wish they had the hair product she used on my hair for sale. It works great but they were out of it. Overall, a great experience. Five star service.

I am absolutely obsessed with my wedding hair and make up. Kristi is such a talented make up artist, kelly did my hair perfectly-​it didn’t budge from the wind! My 6 bridesmaids looked stunning (I feel terrible I can’t remember the second stylists name). Best thing? They were efficient with their time management! My photographer (special shout out to Jenn neves, if you are looking for one!) told me many horror stories about stylists not being done in time, which took away from photos before the ceremony. We were expecting to be done with hair and make up by 11 but they finished at 10:15. I couldn’t be happier with how everyone’s hair and make up came out. I wish I could give them more stars! If you are looking for a talented make up artist and hair stylist you can’t go wrong with studio b!

I used Studio B (Kelly) for my hair and my bridesmaids hair. Kelly is the absolutely best!!! My hair looked stunning on my wedding day — absolutely perfect! Studio B was very easy to work with. Kelly and her assistant came directly to the Biltmore Hotel where all of us girls were getting ready. She even took the extra time to curl my clip-​in extensions the night before to ensure they would hold. I wore my long hair half-​up, half-​down all curls and it stayed looking beautiful throughout the entire night… I was so impressed (and shocked!). My bridesmaids hair all looked beautiful (all 7 of ‘em) and my 2 flower girls had simple cute braids. Overall, Studio B is one of the best vendors I worked with for my wedding and I would HIGHLY recommend them to any bride that wants hair-​perfection on their big day.
I was so happy with their customer service and skills, I broke up with my old hairdresser and now go to Kelly! She just did my hair a few days ago (cut and highlights), and again… AWESOME!

place is fantastic. very welcoming, very friendly, never feel like a stuffy salon. my stylist is awesome… she gets it right every time. Prices are perfect and I always leave looking great! highly recommend

I have yet to to find a flaw at this salon and I do not thik I will. I started going here and sitting with Kelly over a year ago. I came in that first time with dry black (out of a box) hair and told my stylist I wanted to be blonde. She never said no, which so many stylists had prior, and after 4 weeks appointments a few months later I was golden blonde. SInce sitting with Kelly my hair has never been healthier– shine, length, and thinckness is back and I know it is due to great services and product. I am no longer blonde but I still make it a point to go in and have Kelly do something new to my head. If Kelly was ever to leave Studio B I would drive to her she is so great. Thanks to the whole Studio B team!

I have been going here for about 2 years and haven’t has a bad haircut yet! (OMG — I better not have jinxed myself!) Samantha is my stylist and she rocks! She’s well trained and so adorable you want to put her in your pocket to take home!
I love that I can sit in the chair and just say «cut my hair short» or «I’m growing it out» and she takes it from there. That my friends is TRUST!

Pricey, but cute, clean, and has friendly stylists. I would go back.

Was able to get a walk-​n appt with Kelly on a Saturday. Awesome. I loved my haircut and the advice she gave me for my short bob. She was super cool and fun to talk with. I’m calling today to book my next appt with her.

Studio B is a charming piece of heaven smack dab in the middle of Garden City. It is directly across from the Applebee’s, and has plenty of parking nearby. The salon has a variety of services available, and best of all– is open on Monday’s! Yes, Monday’s :)
I have been searching for a new salon, and hands down know that I found one that I can visit for years to come. Studio B is super cute, has a fun young vibe about it, and the staff are ready and able to go above and beyond for their clients. I went in for an up do and makeup application. Samantha was a skilled artist with my hair. She wanted to see a picture of my dress, asked my thoughts and opinions, and then went to town. She was incredibly friendly, easy to talk to, and gave me an amazing look which was complimented all night long. After Samantha, I sat on the other side of the salon to have my makeup applied by the owner, Kristi. She has an unbelievable amount of experience and is hands down one of the most dedicated salon owners I have ever come in contact with. She too wanted to see a picture of my dress, asked for my opinions and wants, and created a flawless look for my face. She was delicate, her makeup and station was clean, and she even gave me a little goodie bag after I was finished :)
In addition to hair and makeup, the salon also does nails and sells beauty products.
If you want to freshen up your look, or are on the hunt for a new salon yourself, make a point to stop in to Studio B. You will not be disappointed!

I have to update my review because my opinion of this place has changed 180 degrees. After speaking with the lovely owner Kristi after my last mediocre visit, she encouraged me to come back because she wanted to change my opinion!
I got a shellac manicure done, and couldn’t be happier with it. The staff was just as friendly as the second time, and they made sure my experience was wonderful– even sending me home with a few little treats! I just made an appointment to get my hair done because I was so satisfied!

Had a fantastic cut at Studio B! Steve gives a stylish cut and keeps my hair looking flawless. Kelly worked her braid magic and styled my hair, and added such a pretty feather. Subdued and cool!
The owner, Kristi, was well versed in her products and helped me find a great new fragrance. So much to do in there-​great atmosphere, funky, modern and elegant!
I will be visiting them again when I’m in town.
