History
Established in 1999.
(circa 1999) L’attitude: L’attitude,(lat-i-tud), n, v, adj… meaning «freedom from limitations», located in the heart of historic Pawtuxet Village, is family owned and operated by Dean and Maria Scanlon. If there is anything we can do to make your visit more enjoyable, please ask for us by name.

Meet the Business Owner
Dean S.
Business Owner
Dean Scanlon is the owner of L’attitude Modern Eatery which offers American Bistro fare with an atmosphere that is warm, friendly and welcoming. L’attitude, which has been open for eleven years, is located in Historic Pawtuxet Village in the Edgewood section of Cranston.
Before opening L’attitude, Dean spent 20 years learning the art of the restaurant business. He spent four years in Birmingham, Alabama, running a fine bistro and has also worked in many restaurants throughout Rhode Island. His experiences in the restaurant field have helped to perfect his skills as a chef and manager.
Dean has been a member of the Warwick Rotary Club for six years and has been recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow because of the community services he has provided.
