Welp, Unilocal… We really hoped to like this place… Maybe they are still getting over the hump of being fairly new, but in my opinion, I don’t think it’s going to happen. We gave this place two tries… The first time we just went for a drink, which was fine. However who we presumed to be the owner or manager seem to be lurking AKA breathing down the neck of the bartender to make sure(I am guessing) she was doing what she was supposed to. It felt odd and uncomfortable to watch. She was friendly enough and the drinks were strong and good, but there’s not a lot to this place, ambiance-wise… And for a Friday night, not many customers. Since it’s not far from home we figured we’d give it another shot. We returned on(another) slow weeknight. We were hungry and ready to have dinner. Again there were hardly any occupied tables yet it seemed to be an eternity before we were able to place our order and get moving. When I did finally order I noticed that the menu had changed from the first visit(which was maybe a month or two earlier). Ok, things were being tweaked… I asked if I could order what intrigued me to return in the first place(the caprese BLT sandwich). My boyfriend ordered a Greek dinner which came with truffle fries or salad. I opted to have his truffle fries and he would have my side salad. My(cold) sandwich, which had been grilled,(so should have been warm) arrived with no bacon. When the server returned I advised him there was no bacon… he returned several minutes later with 2 slices of bacon on a small plate. Meanwhile, I had already eaten half of my sandwich. In the end, we were upcharged for the truffle fries that were included with his meal and my bacon. I only ate about half the fries and told him that they were dry. No apologies were offered or charges removed. Given the lack of business(including an empty parking lot each time I’ve driven past) I would think they would make a better effort to accommodate rather than nickel and dime patrons. Sorry, Milestone… I don’t think the third time will be the charm.

This place is new, friendly, very nice and the food was pretty good. The only criticism is that the ravioli with crab, had no crab. Oh, having an updated menu is important too. If you don’t have it don’t have it posted anywhere and update quickly when you run out of something. Pleasant inside and a good place to grab a drink.

I found out about Milestone through Groupon, and I’m glad I did because it was a great find! It somehow maintains both a diner feel and a bar vibe, great for breakfast through evening(and game-watching; there’s a TV behind the bar). My friend and I arrived at 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon and I was BESIDEMYSELFWITHJOY when I realized they were still serving breakfast/brunch. As tempted as I was by the Greek salad with imported feta cheese(be still my heart!), I had to go with breakfast food. My friend and I shared Charlie’s famous corned beef hash(with eggs, potatoes, and toast), and a short stack of chocolate chip pancakes. Epic choices. The corned beef hash was homemade and had excellent flavor, and we understood why it was famous. The pancakes were not only beautifully presented, but also generous in size and in chocolate chips ;) I’d say it’s great food at supremely reasonable prices. I wanted to meet Charlie, the owner, not only to commend him on his hash, but also to tell him«Ola itan poli nostimo»(everything was delicious!), but I’d just missed him. Hopefully I will catch him next time. Tha ertho kai pali yia ti feta! I’m coming back for the feta! :)

I apologize for the long review in advance, but there were numerous issues to be addressed. I had a gift certificate from to redeem. I got excited looking at the menu beforehand and was anticipating some delicious food to eat. We went as a party of 6 on a Sunday afternoon, there must have been only 3 – 4 other tables seated the whole time we were there. From the start of ordering appetizers until the final bite, everything that could have gone wrong or disappointed us, did… Let’s start with ordering the apps… We wanted to try the Cheese Saganaki, which they were out of… Okay… no big deal, we’ll go to Plan B the intriguing Captain Crunch Chicken Fingers, which we were also told they were out of… So now two choices down we have to send the waiter away to figure what other apps the table would like because choice 1 and 2 were not available. We finally figure out we are going to order the Steak Quesadilla and Calamari. When the waiter returns he said he had good news and they had just got the Chicken Fingers in. So great! We were happy and ordered the Captain Crunch Chicken Fingers and Steak Quesadilla. While waiting for the apps to arrive, we ordered our meals.(As a side note: one person in our party ended up ordering the kids plate of Chicken fingers for their meal, which were the same ones as listed on the app menu-only kid portioned). Fast forward to when our appetizers arrive… we were less than impressed. The quesadilla came out first, which took awhile from when we ordered, so needless to say we dug right in and were waiting for the chicken fingers to be delivered. However, we were told the kids chicken would be out soon… Confused, we all pondered about the actual chicken finger app we were still waiting to arrive… About 5 minutes later the chicken fingers got delivered to the table and we immediately notice that there are only 3 chicken fingers with a side basket of fries on the plate. This clearly represented the kids meal. When we questioned the waitress she insisted that was the appetizer. So we held off on digging in until our original waiter had returned to double check about the accuracy of what was delivered and presented to us. Granted our server was new and didn’t have much knowledge of the menu, plating, or portion control he assured us he would go check with the cook to verify. He returns and tells us that this was indeed the appetizer. Both me and my brother have worked in restaurants our entire life and had never seen such a sad excuse of a chicken finger app. The mistakes don’t stop there… Now our meals start being delivered and still no sign of our original chicken finger app we ordered. My brother and I both ordered the Pontiac Burger, the bun and burger were flavorless, the bacon was rubbery, and the gouda cheese was not melted at all on both plates! My cousin ordered the Big Rig that came with an assortment on breakfast meats, pancakes and eggs and all the meat was cold. Another one of my cousins ordered a side of hash browns and a side of hash was delivered… To top that off she also ordered a waffle which while eating it found a hair inside. And finally my other cousin didn’t even get her meal delivered until all of us were pretty much done eating… You’d think after waiting the entire time for her tuna melt it would have arrived with at least the cheese melted on it… Nope! The cheese wasn’t melted and it looked as if the tuna had been sitting out for awhile and wasn’t fresh. The waiter was clearly very flustered, which was understandable considering it was his 3rd shift and he was still new. But as for the other staff that was there it was just terrible service. The cook finally showed his face after we were just completely done with our experience trying to make excuses and apologize for the way things turned out, but at that point it was too late. I could maybe have been more understanding if the entire restaurant was seated at the time we were there, but it wasn’t busy at all and there was no need for the lousy service and food we got. I’m glad I had the gift card to put towards the bill, because after that service and experience, l would have fought a little harder to get our bill lowered… Unfortunately because of this experience I had I would never return to this restaurant or recommend anyone to eat there. I hope the management will use this review as training and communication opportunity for their staff and for the benefit of future business and customers as well.

Just walked in… At the bar. Ordered a super cold BudLite. This place is immaculate. I’m told the owners insist on cleanliness… Rightfully so, right? Ordered a chicken appetizer. I’m hoping it’s good… Groupon while I was waiting for food to arrive. 16.00 for two 8.00 groupings. Strange but no issue with that. Atmosphere is very tasteful. Awesome wide plank wood floors with cool wood plank backsplash behind the bar. Wide screen tv behind bar. Nice chic app. Sour cream, chive is great! Bottom line? Definitely come !! The chef wanted to be sure I was satisfied… That’s rare when chefs care so much … Another bonus point. Hours are extended… That’s a good thing… Give this place a try… I don’t think u will be disappointed. Sadly cnn is on the tv instead of fox … But that’s my only complaint!

Disappointing experience. They had Greek flambé cheese(saganaki) which is my favorite. When it arrived at the table it was not what I expected. Instead of delicious Greek cheese, they served poorly melted smoked Gouda. To add insult to injury it arrived about an hour after we ordered it. It was supposed to be an appetizer but was served with our entrees. Overall it was a poor experience. Service was sporadic, the restaurant was cold and we had to wait forever for our food. Maybe they will improve with time but I probably won’t give them another chance.

The inside of the restaurant is beautiful. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. Those were the highlights. I probably shouldn’t have ordered Huevos Rancheros but it sounded tasty and is something I enjoy. My fried eggs were undercooked, there was too much of the egg white that was still clear and runny which is extremely off putting to me.(my husband pointed it out to the waitress since I’m not one to complain at a restaurant but even she thought it was disgusting and took it off our bill) The black beans were undercooked as well, they were still hard. The crispy tortilla that it was served on was the best part of the meal but I couldn’t eat much as the undercooked eggs were on it. Their menu has a lot of options and I definitely chose the wrong one. Not sure if I’d give it another try when there are so many other breakfast spots around that are consistently good. Honestly for the prices they charge here I’d rather go to T’s which never lets me down. So while I hate to not give a great review, our waitress gets 5 stars for being so pleasant and attentive but I can’t give it a high score for the food I was served.

I enjoyed breakfast at milestone. The food was good! The only thing I didn’t like was how small the portions are for the price you spend. They also charge an extra $ 1.50 for chocolate chips, blueberries ect. on your pancakes. The service was lovely and the food came out very fast! Small seating area with an easy store front parking lot. Clean and updated on the inside which made for a modern rustic atmosphere. I would definitely come back, but would be interested in trying their lunch or dinner menu versus having their breakfast again. It’s nice to see this newly opened local business doing well!

I tried the breakfast and it was not good. It’s a shame as the place is very clean and the service was good. I have never had food come out from the kitchen and be cold. The food really did not have much flavor. If the chef reads this please add some spice and keep the food hot.

I always want to support new businesses. It is an odd location, not much parking. We were on our way out for the day and I have been wanting to try this place. Saturday morning, 9am place was dead. There was another table of high maintenance rude ladies and us. I say they were rude because I could hear the way they were talking to the waitress. One was very impatient with the waitress in particular. I don’t know if she didn’t like how she didn’t have her order taken and was feeling ignored but it was not a comfortable situation. That should have been an indication of what the food was going to be like. So we sit down. I ordered the social club omlette. Chorizo, corn, black beans, cheese, pico de gallo and avocado. The chorizo was cold! They made what looked like 4 scrambled eggs, and in another pan put the corn, black beans, and chorizo heated it upon lightly and put it in the middle on top of the cheese. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good. I’m still waiting for the pico de gallo and the avocado. I totally forgot about it until I was gone but I didn’t say anything. The waitress wasn’t overly warm either. Normally places look at what you have and see if the plate has everything on it but this person didn’t. I wanted to try the hash browns but when I asked the waitress she said that they weren’t made last night. Really? Who does that? The boyfriend orderded over easy eggs, bacon, sausage and pastrami. Pastrami was rubbery. Eggs looked fine, bacon ok. Not worth the $ 30. Probably won’t go back.

Went last night for dinner. The interior has been completely redone and it is lovely! The menu has a good variety. The service was very slow, however. It seemed like there was only one employee doing the bartending and waiting tables. Would like to try out their breakfast soon.

Very classy for a diner. Breakfast was good and portion was perfect for me. I hate leaving food on my plate. Was able to finish entire breakfast and feel satisfied. Great place for a good breakfast and the price is just right. Big menu, but only complaint is there are not enough combo’s. I’m sure they’ll make anything you want, but for ease of ordering they should expand their combo section…

I really like this place. It’s a little fancier than a diner but not quite pretentious enough to bother me. A very creative menu with items like crème brûlée French toast, Cinnabon style French toast, eggs Benny and they even have chicken and waffles and crepes. The hash Browns are clearly home made and delicious. A little pricy for breakfast but well worth it.

My boyfriend and I live near the area, in walking distance, and were excited to see a new place open up so we tried it. It was delicious! Our waitress was very friendly, the owner seemed to be hanging around making sure things were running smooth and very friendly to talk to, I ordered pancakes and they were huge! I love pancakes and these reminded me of home. They were so delicious and the environment was so great, we had to return! My second experience was just as delicious as the first! This time I had The Big Rig and wow was it BIG! 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 2 pancakes, toast and homefries! I definitely recommend this place to everyone, go try it! I will be returning!
