Great selection! Great service! I will be back! I love the LED and AG jeans… Also Jessica Simpson line fits great! Awesome selection of bras. Lots if cardigans and other styles that I will be able to wear after. Nice tshirts with elbow sleeves. Nice selection of items some with higher price points and some with lower price points. The dress selection is amazing! I will shop here even when I’m not expecting.

Here’s the thing: there are so few stores in this area to fill the needs of so many women — the pregnant women — that if you made a little effort, Destination Maternity, you could make an absolute killing with this store. There are literally no other maternity stores in the area, so when I realized there was a DM in GC, I was jazzed. Then I got there. Whomp, whomp. It’s honestly a little depressing in here. The lighting is bad, the merchandising is droopy, the selection is not cute… I was lucky to have found some plain black leggings(all on my own, I might add) after searching for way too long with no assistance whatsoever from the sales girl. Compared to the selection of great brands and cute stuff they sell online, this DM was a complete disappointment. Where are the AG jeans? Where are the Splendid tops? It was all store-brand and cheap-looking; even in my inflated state I want to be stylish and comfortable, not frumpy and dumpy. Their saving grace is the selection of mama-to-be beauty products. They sell Honest Company goods, including the wondrous and miraculous belly balm, which I loaded p on so I wouldn’t have to come back here. Honestly, DM – you’re missing out on a HUGE demographic here. Make the effort to fill this store and I guarantee, the pregnant women will come… And not just for the belly balm.

This store gets 2 stars for selection and sale items. It gets ZERO stars for service. I was here today, early afternoon. The two sales ladies working(if you can call them that, and if you can cal what they were doing«working») we’re gabbing away about personal things the entire time. I walked in about 30 seconds behind another shopper. No greeting whatsoever. I shopped for about 15 minutes. I walked past the women who work there about three times, never an offer to help or anything of the sort. I found a selection of jeans, which seemed to be on sale, but how could I be sure — no one informed me of any special deals — and made my way to the dressing area. I had to interrupt their conversation to ask if I could take the items into the fitting room. Still no offers for help. The fitting room I chose had a former shopper’s clothes throughout(about 10 items!) and I left with nothing. No goodbye or thank you. I won’t be coming back here, I’ll find somewhere else where I at least get a greeting.

Wanted to review this store because the sales ladies were really helpful without being pushy. For me, shopping for maternity clothes is a brand new experience, so it was helpful to have some friendly assistance. The prices here weren’t outrageous. If you’re confused about what Destination Maternity is in comparison with other brands from the website, it’s Motherhood and A Pea in the Pod in the same store. I know PITP is pretty expensive so I kept to the Motherhood side and between their sale rack and a bogo sale, got three pairs of much needed pants for around 33 dollars each. I also got a free welcome bag with some good treats including a bottle and a 20 dollar shutterfly coupon! One slight annoyance was that the bogo sale was slightly different in the store than it was online(didn’t include sale items in the store) but I wasn’t too bothered by it(because I reaaally needed some pants immediately!) I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to this location, especially because of the great service.
