D & M Tyre Automotive Service Center

Inspection and all work was done by noon. However, the dashboard lit up like a Christmas Tree when I started it up to drive it home. Needless to say this caused me to turn off the car and go back into the shop. Justin personally checked out the car and did not feel comfortable with me taking the car home because of this large display of dashboard icons. He kept the car, had several other specialists look at it and even took it to a Toyota dealer to see if they could get the error lights cleared. No luck. (I’m thinking I have to buy a new car… and who would buy a car that had all those warning lights on!?) Justin did not give up on my car or me. He took the car back to the dealer and they re-​programmed something and made it work again!!! Justin saved me and my wallet. I am and will always be a loyal D & M Tyre customer. I have been referring him to anyone that needs help with their vehicle.

What a horrible experience. i brought it in for a alternator $ 440 later power steering all over my driveway. they broke something get it back again. check enging light is on and ready to stall… thank but no thanks their a joke. Do yourself a favor and stay away!

My family has been coming to Justin and the guys at D&M for as long as I could remember our garage containing a vehicle. I have nothing but positive things to say about this awesome example of how a local garage should operate.
For years, I was driving a beautifully problematic 1996 that had a knack of getting me pretty acquainted with the service shops. Even during the most severe of sputters that left me hand-​in-​hair, these guys fixed it up quick and even took the time to hunt for the best price on parts. In crazy pinches they even managed to wrassle up a loaner so that I never had to miss a day in the office.
When it comes to a service industry that certainly contains more lemons than gems, these guys are top notch and deserve every star of the 5 emblazoned above.

Such a nice, honest, friendly group in this shop! I brought my Subaru Forester here for a service check and was very pleased with my experience. It gets really busy on weekends though so if you can swing bringing your car during the week you’ll have less of a wait.

I have been coming to D & M Tyre for a pretty long time now. When they were at their other location where the new bank is now. They are fantastic! They are very nice to the customers. They are fair on their on their prices. They do not rip you off. I would tell anyone that lives in Cranston to go there. I trust them 100 percent, and they will get my business for as long as I am around.

These guys are great. I brought my truck there for an alignment after Speedee Oil change took me for a ride changing my struts on my truck. Read prior post. While they did the alignment they checked my tire pressure on my truck also informed me that my tire pressure sensor is bad and I needed to replace it. I brought my Subaru in and had them look it over for some small issues I thought it was one thing when actually the issue was something else and cheaper and they were honest to let me know. I messed up and I brought the car back to get the repairs done and I forgot that I ordered and brought my own parts in for them to do the repairs. OH WELL, they were still very prompt and I had the Subaru back by 1 pm on a Saturday that is fast and fantastic service. I will be going back for my tires on the truck when its time.

I have a beater of a car and have gone here a couple of times for emissions/​safety inspections and have walked out without getting gutted. My impression is that they are very fair and will not take advantage of you. As far as competency of their mechanics, It’s hit or miss, I brought my car here for a squealing alternator belt or bad alternator for a review (call me with an estimate). They told me it was my power steering rack and it was leaking (I have no oil in my driveway)? I told them not to touch it, OK, we’ll top off the fluids and leave an estimate (great service, awesome). Next day driving my alternator seizes up on my way to work (WTF!), this should have been an easy troubleshooting job (engine tech 101). However, this could have been one mechanic, so I will try them again.

I’ve always had good luck with them, too. Unlike almost every other car repair place I’ve been to, they don’t try to push unwanted services on you. Reliable, good prices, dependable service.

I am surprised that I am the first to review. Great mechanic shop, I never worry about getting taken advantage of. Justin and the rest of the staff are super friendly. I am still waiting for them to take me golfing though. lol
