Friendly professional service, great work. I had a pair of pants hemmed, no complaints

I can’t comment on their alterations, but they do fantastic repairs. I ripped the pocket seam on a $ 200 pair of dress pants, and since my sewing skills are non-existent, I took them to these guys. Three days and $ 5 later, I had my pants back and they look exactly like when I purchased them. Couldn’t be happier.

I needed a ralph lauren dress hemmed, no one would touch it, it was a little tricky to hem this particular dress, I needed it in a week, asked around and the name cranford custom tailor kept coming up, we walked into this little shop and could tell this was the place, they have about five sewing machines, a dressing room, and counter, the husband and wife are friendly, the price was amazing, the work outstanding, this is now my go to tailor, and being only 4’11″ I need everything hemmed, I would recommend this place to everyone, they have been there for years, and now I know why…

I went to this tailor because he was well-reviewed on Unilocal.I don’t know what everyone else is thinking, because the work that I got done was terrible. I had two suits tailored, and I would have refused to pay for any of it if I had the balls to argue about it. On one suit, the tailor took the jacket in too much and it looks like it’s stretched out when I button the jacket. The sleeves on the jacket are too long. There’s a funny crease under the left armhole. The waist of the pants were not taken in well and they drape funny. Also he didn’t hem the pants short enough. When he marked the length of my pants I asked them to be shorter, and he kind of ignored me so I made of point of going back to the pants, taking the chalk from him and marking where I wanted the pants hemmed. He totally ignored that. I also asked for the pants to be tapered and he did, not enough to make the pants look modern/currently fashionable – just enough to make them look like a sloppy tailor job. The hem is also clearly visible three inches up from the bottom of the pant leg. The second suit is just as bad, so I won’t go into details. I also won’t be coming back. If you’re a young man and you want a modern, slim fitting suit, do not go to this tailor.

I would like to give him 1 star just because I don’t want people going there and then my wait time gets longer. But he is too nice of a man to do that. He has a small little shop and does amazing work, quickly and for a very fair price. You can not go wrong going to him!

I came here with a suit I purchased with a specific look in mind. I bought the suit at the store, but it needed some tightening up in the torso and shortening of the length in the legs. I came here from my buddy Matt S.‘s review and recommendation… Great. Move. This guy is terrific. I told him EXACTLY how I wanted my suit to form to my body, and within 3 days, he’d done it just as I’d described for a good price. If you’re in the area and need a suit custom-fit, id DEFINITELY recommend Cranford Custom Tailor.

I have been getting my suits(all 3) tailored here since I started buying suits(all 4 years). The guy barely speaks English it seems, but he understands how to tailor your suit to make you look good. He works fast, is reliable, and inexpensive. I also know others that have gone for repairs and they had nothing but high remarks.
