Dan’s Heating & Air Conditioning

We had this company for our office building for 3 years and finally have let go of them in frustration. They have rude office staff and inexperienced techs. Most of the problems they came to fix took several visits and they would not stand behind their work. We would get charged for each of their visits. Would stay away from them.

Can I give 0 stars, or less? This is the worst company I have ever dealt with, in any line of business. They installed the HVAC in my condo building and it is a joke. The vents are not flush to the wall, there are several screw holes visible near some of the vents. The return vibrates like crazy. The vent fans in the bathrooms are installed poorly and vibrate all the time.
But once you get past their horrible work, let’s talk about the customer service. I’ve called them many times trying to get them to come out to fix these issues and the person I speak to on the phone is always incredibly rude. If you can actually get an appointment they will either call the day of it to push it back, or worse just not show up. I have no idea how this company is in business. Do yourself a favor and find a different HVAC company.

OK, so I made that original post 9 days ago. At that point we had been dealing with faulty air conditioning for more than a week and we were on call for them to come «any day now.» Since then, the air conditioning has totally broken down. We have nothing. It’s been 100 degrees out. I haven’t slept in days.
Finally Dina tells me they’re coming today. I take off of work. They never show. I call and she said she’s sorry and they meant to cancel on my appointment yesterday. I ask to talk to Dan and he said I would have to find another air conditioning place to fix THEIR FAULTY AIR CONDITIONERS because, 1: I’ve called too much, and 2: On a previous call I asked they send a different repairman because the previous one didn’t seem to know how to fix the problem– and that guy was the owner’s son, and he was offended.
I TOOK OFF OF WORK TODAY!!! THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR WEEKS!
Oh my god, I wish I could give negative stars.
