2 Acres Shy LLC is a small business located at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Rockcastle County, Kentucky.

We believe in the historical, more natural way of doing things. We also believe that nature provides for our health and well being and can enhance our lives if we would only give it a chance. Our herbs are carefully chosen for their potential healing and life enhancing powers! So you can feel safe to «Let Nature Have It’s Way With You!»

At 2 Acres Shy we are WILD about nature! 2 Acres Shy is a National Wildlife Federation and Kentucky State Certified Wildlife Habitat, complete with a Rain Garden and Monarch Way Station. So when people say we are «for the birds»…They are right!

While working in the community I often saw people suffering from side effects form medications, not good! As a training herbalist, I began to research herbal remedies of the Native American people and old Appalachain reciepes. I find that natural remedies can often solve the problems WITHOUT the side effects.
