History

Established in 2004.

Trapper’s Sushi was started in 2004 with its first store Sushi Town. The name changed after going through some changes and expanding. Trapper O’Keeffe has been in the restaurant business for over 18 years. He stared training under his brother-in-law Master Sushi chef Eisuke Sato in Reno at the age of 17. After Eisuke closed his restaurant and decided to go back to Japan Trapper moved to Washington. When Trapper decided to open multiple locations he turned to his family for help and now they all work together for Trapper’s Sushi. Trapper appreciates all of his staff and realizes that with out great people he would not have a great business.

Meet the Business Owner

Trapper O.

Business Owner

Trapper’s Sushi philosophy is simple, give the best service and best food possible. We strive to have a «Cheers» type atmosphere and expect our staff to get to know our customers. If we don’t know your name then we better learn it or we are not doing our job. If our customers are not happy, Trapper wants to hear about it so he can fix it. We are a family friendly restaurant and kids love coming to eat at Trapper’s Sushi. We want to make sure every customer that comes in feels like they had a great time and the food was outstanding.

Trapper wants every customer to know that he cares about their dinning experience and loves to hear about them even when their experience is less than great. Trapper believes that he can and will succeed with his simple philosophy of giving the best service and best food possible.

Thank you so much and we look forward to serve you.
