I had the coney dogs. The chili was different than any I have ever had. It was really good. I can’t wait to try it again next time I am in this part of the country.

Several friends and coworkers suggested that I try Skyline Chili while in the Cincinnati area, and this location was just a short walk from our hotel. Our bubbly server, Krystal, was a fantastic hostess who took the time to explain to us out-of-towners the options of ordering Skyline Chili. She even offered to give us soft drinks in a «to-go cup» for our walk back to the hotel. My friend Ed L and I both ordered the large 4 Way Chili with beans served over spaghetti. A bowl of oyster crackers was also included with each order. I’m so glad I carry my Lactaid tablets with me everywhere as there was a mountain of shredded cheese on top of our chili plates. The spaghetti was cooked soft but actually tasted pretty good with the chili. The meat in the chili was ground up too fine; I think I would have preferred bigger chunks of meat, but with Skyline being a chain and all I’m sure the product arrives at the restaurants pre-processed and ready to be cooked. The overall product is good but not great. The good feeling you get from the excellent service at this location is key. I agree that any chili-loving visitor should try Skyline Chili at least once, and if you’re stopping by at this location say hello to Krystal for me.
