This was my me and my mother’s «to go nail salon.» Since I moved away from Covington, I have not been able to find a nail salon as good as Marvelous Nails. The people here are very professional and really know what they are doing. So, on the first day of being back for my vacation at home, I told my mother we NEEDED to go to the nail salon and get our nails did, like back in the good old days. We forgot they close at 7:00 pm on week days, we showed up around 6:30 both wanting a shellac manicure, I kind of felt bad since the whole place was packed. The lady on the front counter came up to us and told us she would take us but it was going to be a 40 – 45 minute wait. That’s cool, we will take it. 40 minutes later, my mother and I are getting our nails done. I really appreciate how they didn’t make us feel rushed and the fabulous work they did. Once again, Marvelous Nails does not fail. Two shellac manicures equaled to $ 68.00.

I LOVE Marvelous Nails! Anyone who knows me knows I’m very serious about my nails. After moving to Covington, I was driving to Baton Rouge for a manicure until I found Marvelous. Now I never go anywhere else. Twee is the bomb! The shop is very clean, the wait time is short, and most of all my nails and toes look awesome! I recommend them to everyone now!!!

Have been searching and searching for a new nail salon since moving in February. Now I’ve finally found it! Prices are very competitive (25 $ for a pedicure with paraffin wax) and nail tech services were nothing short of stellar. Got a brand new full set with the perfect shape and length, and we all know how hard it is to find a place that can get square-​square just right! I had the same tech for my nails and pedicure, and I will definitely be back to see him!

passing by, my wife and I stopped by this exit to grab lunch. She saw this nail salon and wanted to get a mani/​pedi, I was like, might as well get one too.
LOVED IT!!! Nice little stop when I’m heading to Slidell through Covington and will make a regular stop here to get a manicure.

I visited twice. The first time was for a «full set» and the second for a fill and a pedicure. I won’t go back. For the most part, the services were acceptable but on my second visit, I was basically nickel and dimed to the point that a $ 40 visit wound up costing $ 70 after tipping the girl that did the work. I’d have no problem paying for a detailed paint job on my nails, but to be charged an additional $ 25 for a very basic design is unacceptable. (French manicure with a single additional line) One would expect that when there are additional costs over and above the base price, you’d get a warning. Not here. Greed cost them a regular customer. Now I go around the corner to Sunshine Nails.
