Martin’s Uptown Cleaners

I wish you could give zero stars.
Does this town have a decent dry cleaner?!? I drop off some clothes a week ago. My wife tries to pick it up and they give her the wrong shirt. She discovers this when she gets home. She calls back and the owner tells her she is wrong because he wrote down on his pad that that is my shirt. No concern about the fact that somebody else will also be missing their shirt. She told him that I would deal with it tomorrow. I went in and he got angry at me when I asked him to exchange the wrong shirt for the correct shirt. He asked me to be ‘reasonable’ when I asked him to find my shirt while I wait so that I would not have to make a third round trip to his shop to pick up my clothes. He angrily told me he is a small operation and couldn’t be expected to find my shirt while I wait. No apology.
I would not trust clothing with this shop. They have demonstrated that when they screw up, they will blame you before they try to remedy the situation. What are they going to do if they ruin something nice of yours? If you don’t care what happens, then this is the place for you. In the meantime, I will try to find a shop that can actually clean some clothes and deliver them as promised. How hard is it?!?
