Julian Huxley, the founder of ELAVA Botanik, started backpacking around the English countryside when he was 16 years old, and later became a global trekker visiting some of the most remote tribes in the world. Interested in what was used in agrarian tribal cultures for beauty, he discovered the answers were surprisingly simple. Fruits, barks, tree oils, and ash were the common substrates.

We thought about these organic cultures when we created ELAVA Botanik. After many, many tries we finally perfected a line of beauty products that are beneficial to our health and the environment. ELAVA Botanik combines fruits, essential oils and herbal powders to make a conscientious product that you can feel good about using.
