MRI is an emerging tool for early imaging of prostate cancer and other prostate-​related conditions. Powerful postprocessing of images may show specific, suspicious areas with the prostate. Better images mean better results.

DIS employs an academic approach to prostate MRI by utilizing a team of three radiologists to interpret each study. Collectively, they issue one comprehensive report to the treating physician. DIS is the only imaging provider in Louisiana offering this level of prostate 3T MRI service.
