History

Established in 1976.

Designs Unlimited, a residential and commercial building design firm, was founded in 1976 by Vern Rockwell in Kent, Washington (about 20 miles south of Seattle). The Designs Unlimited team has over 7,000 single family and mutifamily homes built from our designs. We are proud of being a Street of Dreams participant and an award –winning design firm.

We love designing homes and are one of the few firms in the Kent/​Seattle area that specializes in residential design. Homeowners and contractors around the country love the beauty and savings they get from our stock house plans.

Vern turns your vague or specific ideas for a home into reality. Verns a keen listener because he believes on designing what his clients want, according to their tastes and preferences.

Vern founded Designs Unlimited in 1976. He’s an award winning designer and a past participant in the Street of Dreams. He has been practicing residential design since 1974.

Vern is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and International Code Council (ICC), and the International Council of Building Designers (ICBD).
