History
Established in 1999.
Design Clips was established in 1996 and managed at the time by Allison Colardo. Owning a salon had been Allison’s dream since childhood. Her parents were so determined to help her dream a reality that they used their family home as collateral for her business loan. In 1998, thanks to the faith of the former owners, the Eads family, and the love of Allison’s parents, Allison purchased Design Clips.

Allison Newman graduated from Capelli School of Cosmetology in 1994. She has extensive training in Redken, Matrix, Paul Mitchell, & Nexxus and is a master colorist.
