Its a nice place to work out, but i moved to Augusta for school, and canceled my membership, kept being billed even though i called a bunch of times to ask why it wasnt canceled. They kept saying i hadnt come in. Finally just canceled my card. Nice place, but having unprofessional teens working there makes it a hassle.

This gym is great for those who want to have a relaxing run or jog on the treadmill. Or have time to work out during the day. Now early morning and post 5pm… not so much. Fitness Club is extremely too busy after 5pm. Normal wait time for a machine is approx 5 minutes if you stand next to it. And for those that work out… you know your heart rate has dropped. Great for mid day work outs. Stay away you post work pressers. Overall facility is great! Great staff, general manager and owner. Price is so cheap the enter city works out here.

This gym uses a third-party billing company(Club Administrative Services) and they have overcharged us EVERYMONTH since we joined! When I contact the Manager«Chris» he is very abrupt and will not discuss this issue with me, he refers me to his billing company(in Columbus, GA). The billing company will not answer their phones and will not return calls. They charged me for the membership and a late fee EVERYMONTH! It is an automatic draft from my credit card, how can it be late if they draft it on time?! My membership is $ 19.95 a month and they charged that PLUS a $ 30 late fee each time! I had my credit card company stop payment on their company and they changed their name slightly so, to the system, it appears to be a different company and the charges go through! There are hundreds of complaints online about this billing company and, after I brought this to the Manager’s attention, he still will not help me. I had to get my credit card company to cancel our account number and issue a new one to stop the charges! AVOIDTHISGYM and any other that uses Club Administrative Services to handle their billing! UPDATE: After writing a very nasty letter and threatening the club’s Manager with legal action for theft(I am a Police Officer) the OWNER(Pam Stillerman) called me and we discussed the situation. After she listened to me, she STILL insisted that her billing company would never do anything like that. I told her that I would be happy to provide her with my credit card statements, proving the overcharges and she agreed to accept them. After reviewing my statements, the Owner called the billing company and told them to refund the late fees and the April dues that were charged(for a total of $ 109.90). Even after she told them to refund the money to my card, she insisted on defending her billing company, saying that they are«Top notch». Although the Owner finally intervened and made things right(at least I hope no more charges will be made to my account), I still do not recommend this business because they are sticking with the same billing company. BEWARE of any fitness club that uses CLUBADMINISTRATIVESERVICES, in Columbus, GA, for their billing!
