History

Established in 1999.

I started as a student mechanic in the early 80’s fixing and fine tuning cars and truck. With the experience, I came to realize not only I have to trouble shoot and fix the problems but also to make sure the owners understand owning a vehicle is big responsibility. They have to follow certain maintenance schedule to keep the cost of repairs and make the vehicle in top shape. Happy car, happy owner. I also strongly believe that owners if well informed will just that. My primary business is smog inspection and my goal is to help clean up the air we breath. Clean air means clean environment.

Wills Automotive was recommended to me for a quick smog check, and I was not disappointed. Knowing that mornings were better, I went in around 9:00 a.m. Yay, no one was in front of me! The attendant, Andrew, took my information and the key and whisked me right in. Tea, coffee, and hot chocolate along with snacks were offered — nice touch. I made one phone call. Before I was able to pull out work I was planning to do while waiting, Andrew was back with my paperwork neatly put in a small manila envelope, and my key — all done within 15 minutes! To top it off I was able to use their Unilocal $ 8 discount for the first smog check with a Unilocal Check-​in. Saved me $ 20+ from what the dealer charged. I’ll be back next year for sure.

In and out for a no appointment smog check quickly. My check engine light came on mid-​check and he ran the error code, told me what was most likely wrong, told me to get to a dealership asap to get it checked, and didn’t charge me. Once it was back from the dealership, I took it right back to get smogged again and it passed no problem. Nice guys.

My dad has worked on some of Will’s cars and told me to visit him when I need to get my cars smogged. So once I started coming here, Will has been nothing but a great help and asset. He is honest and wants your car to pass. He wants you to get it fixed so it runs like new. He gives you his recommendations to keep your car running clean and best of all, he’s very kind and honest about it. This is my first go to spot before any else.

So I went today to get my smog check and let me say … I wish they do more than just smog checks): I fell in love with this place! They had a clean environment, weren’t rude whatsoever ! And was fast.
