A little pricey for a chilaquiles plate. Menudo was decent but I still miss my little hole in the wall spot in south central. Awesome that they open super early.

Been here countless times but I recently notice a HUGE decline in quality and Serving size. Why??? Well, it’s under new ownership or management either one. But it’s not good anymore. it’s as bad as El Picoso and Tacos Gavilan

Came here today and we were the only customers. Ordered 2 taco plates. Waited 20 – 30 min and no food. 4 – 5 cooks in the kitchen messing around instead of cooking. Got my money back and left. Never again!!! Waste of time. Matador in Irwindale it is for us. They know how to cook and appreciate their customers.

I have been ordering from this place every Sunday practically. Today was the final day I will ever eat here again. The food quality has been going down for a while now but I had been patient since I used to really like the food and service. I used to call in the order and the food would be ready within 10min. Today, I ordered the food and when arriving they had run out of the two salsas — red and green — and it was only 11am. No one seemed to know what they were doing. Customers had been waiting over ½hr for their food after calling it in, including me. When I finally got the chilaquiles with eggs, they tasted horrible and the eggs were burnt. I had noticed in the past that there’s a woman who is either the owner or the manager who treats her employees horribly. She belittles them in front of customers and I wouldn’t doubt she may be the reason why the good employees have left who actually made this establishment a success with their service and food. This 5yr+ customer will never be ordering from here again!

Delicious food! Tijuana style carne asada is fine cut, small well cooked & seasoned pieces, that can be crisp and flavorful, without being over cooked. Everything is fresh and well prepared, jugos are made to order. The service is just ok and prices are not super cheap, but it’s really good food and you won’t be disappointed with what you get.

Found a large thick screw about an inch long in my food. Absolutely disgusting and dangerous! Shows you the lack of care they show when it comes to making the food and serving their customers. When I went demanding my money back the woman just said she couldn’t give me my money back and gave me another torta and walked away to the back and waited till I left. Does she really think I want anything else from that disgusting place? Wouldn’t even feed that to my dogs. Never coming back here again! Absolutely disgusting!

Girl taking my order was too busy being rude to get my order right then charged me again to fix my order. Instead of comping me since she messed up big time. Then they gave me a warm juice. Gross! I also got pico de gallo(fruit with chili) totally skimped me with chili and everything and when I told her I wanted it spicy she looked at me like I was dumb. Didn’t even offer to fix it just gave me another skimpy bag of chili. What a joke! It took another 30 min to get a taco and a burrito. Fist and last time here. The little girl Ana taking orders needs to learn customer service and how not to roll her eyes when she speaks. 0 stars for customer service. Smh.

Would not recommend to anyone longest wait ever for a burrito that takes two minutes to make and the girl behind the counter is rude as F

I absolutely love their carne asada tacos and nachos here. The meat is finely cut and no chewy bits! Their rice, beans, tamarindo agua fresca and salsas are great too. The only reason it didn’t get a 5 is cuz there is a long wait sometimes… Even if you phone it in and get a simple order like tacos.

Came here for my very first time Friday night. Wasn’t really planned my Husband and I were going around town doing some errands when we both realized we were extra hungry and it was time for dinner! I had driven by this place so many times until Friday we decided it was time to check it out. Our order? 2 chicken sopes 1 carne asada guarache and an order of carne asada fries. Drinks? 1 bottled Coke and 1 bottled Fanta. meat was DELICIOUS! very flavorful and the service was pretty darn quick. We will definitely be back. The carne asada fries were amazing because they used actual cheese, no nacho cheese(Mind you I have nothing against nacho cheese it’s actually bomb too). It was all good all around. i’ll be back. Tijuanas. Ill be back

I am so beyond irritated with this place right now. About 20 minutes ago I ordered a all meat burrito and added cheese for 10 freakin dollars YES10 dollars. I stopped and looked around to make sure I wasn’t at chipotle, nope sure enough I was just at a mom and pop with absurd overpricing. I have actually been coming here for years but the price left a bad taste in my mouth, then I get my burrito and apparently they don’t give chips with orders anymore so that had me frustrated. When I grab the bag I thought to myself damn this feels pretty light, then I get home and of course my burrito has no cheese which of course is like 75cents extra. I am so frustrated that I will never step foot in this establishment again which is unfortunate because the food is actually good. However for me a mistake of this magnitude speaks volumes of how the consumer is taken advantage of. I am actually still hungry and I spent enough money to buy a pizza and feed my whole family.

Prices went up and quality went down. Served carne asada that looked liked dehydrated black meat. It was like the meat had been sitting on the grill for hours. It was literally the burnt left over scraps put into my food… Horrible horrible food quality. I don’t even know how they could serve that to someone.

The food is okay to pretty good. I really liked going for the juices but then stopped because their customer service sucks. They can’t answer any questions about the ingredients in the juices, I’ve had the same juice and it always taste slightly different. At times they aren’t even good because I’m sure the person who made it didn’t know how to. I once ordered a side of small fruit for what the menu said $ 2 – 3. They rang me up for $ 4 and when I said that’s not the price they have up, the cashier pulls out a take out menu and turns it to the back and points to the small print where it says prices subject to change without notice. I was like okay, fine. When I got home there was a tiny amount of fruit, not what the picture menu advertised. They also take foreeeeeever to order a juice or anything that comes from that side of the restaurant.

Day 3 and we still have stomach issues… Our toilet has been our best friend since then. Something went wrong during the preparation of our food whether cross contamination of food or simply not washing hands may be of cause. We’re not going to eat here again. We ordered to the chicken tacos and had the green sauce. This place is swimming of hungry bacteria looking for intestines to live in.

Referred by my coworker, small family mexican restaurant hidden in the shopping center. The décor is very festive and colorful, there are many tables available. The customer service could have been better. Im guessing they were understaff since there was no one at the register to take my order so I had to wait for a while, which I do not like since I was crunch for time. The staff could at least smile, good thing she did was recommend the yummy Taquitos. HUGE Menu above the counter when you order, many different choices, inexpesive… I ordered the Taquitos(comes w/rice and beans) and the Carne Asada burrito(the size is Huge!!) The Taquitos were crunchy, delicious esp topped w/guacamole. The rice and beans were nothing special. The Burrito was for my Co –worker, but she states it’s the best and recommends it. Any way, would come back to try more on their menu.

Food is mediocre. 2stars: had the carne asada fries and I would rather go across the street through the drive thru Salsa is good. 4 stars Service. 1 star — Erica isn’t helpful and she doesn’t seem to care about her customers. Never going there again. Too many good Mexican spots to hit up.
