I like to stop by for some thrifty ice cream from time to time. A cone with black cherry and pineapple with coconut is my favorite choice. The gentleman behind the counter is always nice.

I’ve lived in this area (Covina/​Glendora) for 11 years now and have not been to this mini market. Actually, I don’t even know if its new or old. The banners advertising Thrifty ice cream is the only reason why we stopped in. We rolled in after dinner just to check it out. This mini market was really clean with random items for sale. I think I saw slippers and clothing items, lotto tickets and the usual milk, candies and chips.
There were about a dozen flavors and as expected the taste was just as I remembered it — old school ice cream memories. The only complaint I have is the ice cream scooper wasn’t that round squarish scooper. I just remember the perfect scoops triple stacked — pistachio, strawberry and vanilla.
Get lucky and buy some lotto tickets and scratchers while you’re there.

Plenty of products and last minute supplies, also SLUSH PUPPIES! Owner is really nice and it shows he works hard to keep his store nice. I appreciate how clean it is in there and of rather support small businesses.
