A little over a month later, no sign of bed bugs, so they’re good at pest control. HOWEVER, they have you sign a no liability contract before treatment. They’re heat treatment caused hundreds of dollars worth of damage to our furniture including our bed frame causing our mattress to fall through to the ground due to the frame being warped out of shape, our night stands have drawers that have split apart, and some of our shelving has been warped. Besides the damage, they treat ALL of your property like garbage. They say to separate your electronics and place them on a table. We did that and then came home to our $ 3000 worth of laptops and home computer in the bottom of a cardboard box under a mountain of our other belongings. That cardboard box and the rest of our belongings were piled into our bathroom and looked as if everything was literally THROWN in there. I would’ve given this company 5 stars but I don’t think people who treat other people’s personal belongings as garbage deserve to be allowed in your home.

We had a major ant problem and the Isotech team was extremely patient, coming back several times until it was completely gone. They also explained the potential root causes to help us avoid future problems. I highly recommend them.

I called several pest control companies and most of them do a spray, some do K9 detection, some do heat treatments. Isotech offers a fumigation to your moving rental truck so that everything you own can be quarantined in there and (hopefully) kill any little creature lurking in the dark.
It’s a long drive, a 4-​day process, and an expensive treatment. While they do not guarantee their work, it’s been a few weeks and I haven’t seen a trace of any pests, yay!
I do have to say, though, that I really didn’t feel they communicated with me. I felt I was constantly having to call or email them. I even had to ask how I should prep for the treatment. I was emailed a prep sheet, but it was for an in-​home treatment, and the in-​truck treatment was a bit different. It’s a good thing someone suggested I take the bedbug mattress covers off before it got treated, something that Isotech failed to mention.
In the end, I felt that I was being a pest (haha), and did not really get any empathy for going through something like this. I guess I was looking for them to be more proactive, urgent and understanding. I get that it’s a busy company because of all of their publicity, but at the end of the day, I am still a customer and should not feel that I am hassling them.

This company is awesome! After I had a bed bug treatment nightmare with another company, they were a breath of fresh air. Their dog came in and confirmed no bugs. They also did a great job helping my friend deal with mites. More recently, I thought I had bed bugs in a different place, and they came by and confirmed I didn’t. Over they phone I got a quote from them for a Vikane treatment and it was 25% lower then another quote I got. They’re honest and competent, unlike a lot of other companies out there.

Robert and Zip came to my condo today and I was beyond convinced that I had bed begs (I had just returned from traveling and received five bites on my neck one night and two the next day on my face, However, after an extremely thorough inspection of my entire place, including the garage, my luggage and my car, Zip found nothing! I also watched Robert hide some live bugs in jar in various places in the rooms and Zip found them each time. My peace of mind is back!

I suffered through minor bedbug infestations two summers in a row because the owner of my apartment building used a blasé, non-​bedbug-​specialized pest control company to handle it. They sprayed toxic chemicals multiple times, but the bugs managed to evade the treatments, and even spread to the apartment below the second time. I finally moved and got rid of just about everything in the affected room, so you can imagine my paranoia when, three months into living in my new place, I thought I saw signs of their return. But now I was in a privately-​owned condo and could control which company I hired.
After some online research, I came across Isotech and left an after-​hour message. Despite the time, Mike called within an hour and arranged a consultation for early the next morning. He accommodated my work schedule and updated me regularly when he was stuck in traffic. He didn’t sight any bugs, so he had Robert call to arrange a visit with his beagle, Zip. They came early the next morning and Zip found nothing. I was 95% convinced of his credibility until Robert hid a vile of bugs under my mattress while Zip was locked in the bathroom. When he came out, Zip went right to the area of the vile, scratched the wall and got really excited. Robert was generously explaining things, but I interrupted him to request he remove the vile because I couldn’t concentrate on anything he said while it was touching my bed anyway. I’m now 99.99% sure (I’ll always have paranoia through no fault of Isotech’s) I’m bedbug free and it was worth every penny I paid for the service. (The consultation was free; there was a fee for the dog-​sniffing service.)

Isotech vikane treated my home and two vehicles for bed bugs. I also used their bed bug sniffing dog service. I would hands-​down recommend them to any person dealing with a bed bugs issue in Los Angeles. Their staff is knowledgable, helpful, and professional. They even sat down with me for two hours for a free consultation about the logistics of the treatment beforehand.
