One of the best bakeries I know of! Joe was so nice and made my Mother in law thee best 90^th birthday cake! It was super fresh and so good! He made the cake look so beautiful just as I wanted with roses and her picture! Such a great price for a full sheet! He will be getting our business again! Thank you Joe!

Best white cake w/​fresh strawberries and/​or bananas. Super moist and delicious. He always does a good job decorating too!

This place is amazing! I recently just had my birthday and my niece’s and we ordered quite a few different desserts for our superhero themed party.
First off a 7″ round red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting! The color scheme for the party was yellow, red, and blue. The owner put cute polka dots on the side of the round cake.
We also ordered 3 dozen cupcakes which were $ 13.99 a dozen i believe… AMAZING PRICE! Every bakery that i called charged $ 2+ PER CUPCAKE!
The owner captured all my ideas perfectly! He offered great suggestions and was really adjusting to what i wanted. My 3 dozen cupcakes was half white cake and half chocolate.
One dozen had bright red icing.
One dozen had bright yellow icing.
One dozen had bright blue icing.
The day of the big event, the owner was prepared and organized! I did not have to wait long and it was such a breeze that i did not have to worry about the cake! The owner showed me everything before he packaged it really nicely and everything was very much presentable and ready for the party!
I definitely will be back again for future parties. It was hassle free and such a great experience.
Just note that they are closed on mondays… I didn’t know.

This place is great in the middle of Mother’s Day I stopped by it was open and he made me a cake in 15 min and all my family loved it! I’m not from Covina I live in Van Nuys but most definitely when I’m Covina I’ll stop by thanks!

Ordered my baby shower cake from here. No tasting, just read a few reviews from Unilocal and decided to give them a try. The cake was Amazing!!!
Everyone at our party was practically licking their fingers. I’m a huge fan of carrot cake and have had my fair share of them but this is the most moist carrot cake we have ever tasted. The cake was gorgeous and received many compliments. Will definitely be recommending and returning to this gem.

I needed a cake for my daughter’s party. I was looking for a local bakery. I ordered a half sheet yellow cake with fresh strawberries. The cake was dry. I tossed the left over cake away.

People need to realize what an awesome little bakery this place is. I’ve been going here since high school having stuff from donuts to cookies to chocolate dipped strawberries. My parents even continue to go here for their Filipino puto cake which is pretty damn good. One thing that recently amazed me about them are cronuts. We got them fresh and absolutely delicious. Just know that if you want them, you need to call ahead for the owner to make it for you. They’re 4 for $ 10 which is a crazy deal for this popular hybrid baked good. I’d say to give it a try.
Note: It takes about 3 hours to make the cronuts.

Ordered a cake. Was ready on time and tasted really good for the price. Have had better cakes, but $ 20 for a custom made quarter sheet seemed pretty good. I would say it was better than a Costco cake or a cake you would get from a market bakery, but not the rich, dense cake you can get from a high end bakery. It was just right for the occasion though where a Costco cake would be just too much, but you didn’t want to get a cake from the market either. I know everyone at the happy hour loved it and even left it for the servers and TGIF (they were enjoying it more than we were).
Customer service was not the best, but think it was the language barrier more than anything.
Will have to try some of the «richer», denser looking cakes next time. Prices were a bit higher, but expected for the type of cake.
Who knew you could get a good cake from a place that also sells donuts :)

Lived in the area all my life, and sadly just discovered this place. The cakes are rich and delicious. The pastries are amazing and fresh. We have yet to try something we didn’t like. Favorites are the Kisses, Cheese Rolls, and Canolis. Buy 6 cookies, get one free! They take card, so buy one of everything — prices are great. The baker is super sweet, his name is Joe. Give him your monies!

After another bakery f’d up my cake order I had to scramble and get a cake the same day as my sons birthday. He wanted a Minecraft cake and mama was gonna deliver one way or another. Happy Bakery was able to do a computer image cake that same day! I ordered a white sponge cake with fresh strawberries. It was delicious and half the price as the other bakery wanted. I got phone calls after the party asking where I got the cake because it was that good! I will def use them again and so will all of my party guests :)

Just found this little place and I will be back for sure. OMG everything was so fresh and we were there late on a Sunday. Prices are awesome too. I WANT MORE!

the cakes are moist and full of flavor. the donuts are always fresh. the mousse cups are to die for. they have plenty to choose from, hubby and I are addicted. We always stop by when we’re in the area. The owner is nice and friendly. we have yet to try the tamales, maybe on our next visit.
