I have to say I’m glad I looked on Unilocal.Dave returned my call right away and was very professional. He did a great job. Very reasonable rates. I had him install sod, roses and a California pepper tree. Very happy with his work.

I found Dave by searching through Unilocal.It was the great reviews that gave me the nerve to call Dave to arrange to meet and show him the slope and give him our ideas of what we wanted. Dave listened, agreed and offered additional ideas. I told him initially that I already had a quote I was happy with and he matched the quote. I spoke at length with Dave and learned of his character which is steeped in honesty and strong business ethos. I expressed our concerns with the severity of storms of late across our nation and what that could mean for us as it relates to the steep slope in front of our house. Runoff runs directly to our front door. We talked about a small retaining wall and I told him I would need to think about it before I could commit. Due to financial constraints I told Dave I would be doing this in two stages. When I finally took delivery of the product I called Dave to let him know. Dave showed up on time. I then told Dave that I was going to add the retaining wall he recommended so then we talked a bit about the brick/​block and I gave him my choice. Dave didn’t skip a beat, he and his helper started right in on what we had at the time and he will return the following day to lay the wall. He returned the next day and worked until he lost light and said he would be back Monday to finish. I was thrilled with the wall and the new look it gave our front yard. I forgot to mention that I made a couple of changes that were based on Dave’s recommendations and picked up a flat of myoporum and I also wanted some vegetables so I picked up several starter plants. Over the weekend we tested out the sprinklers and found we needed to get Dave to make some adjustments. When Dave returned he went straight to work and made the needed adjustments to the sprinklers and put in a drip system per my request. The project is not yet finished but I did order the remainder of product to complete what we started but I think I will be adding another stage to the overall project. I’m so happy I found Dave and grateful he is patient. Dave takes pride in his work and seeks to make his customers happy. I am thrilled with his work!

The former owner of our home recommended Dave to us when we moved into our new home a few months ago. Dave has been wonderful to me. I guess he believed me when I told him I had spent all of money buying the home, because he has been very reasonable, even generous, with his pricing for me! He pruned my very overgrown tree in the back yard for literally 20% of what another company had quoted me. Even better than the pricing, though, is the quality of the work. I have never owned my own home before, and I take a lot of pride in trying to make it beautiful. Dave certainly has made the yard gorgeous! He is great at making recommendations but also wonderful at listening to what I want and helping me make my vision a reality. I recently had the home fumigated, and the fumigation company destroyed some plants and knocked a fence down. Dave gave me a wonderful price for replacing the fence and the plants that had been killed. He is able to get me plants for about half the price of my local nursery, and they are every bit as nice. He also built the beautiful stone wall (about 20 years ago) that surrounds our back yard. It is breathtaking, literally a work of art.
He is also very patient. I text him often when I have concerns about how to properly care for the yard, and he always replies with helpful advice. I am so glad to have his help! Oh, and the guys he has brought to help him are very nice as well.

This is the second home we have used Dave’s Landscaping for. He landscaped both of our homes beautifully. So many people have commented on the work he and his crew have done. For our second home, besides landscaping front and back he also tiled a front porch and steps, increased the width of the steps and built a fence. People stop all the time to ask who did the work.
