The mexican man that owns the place is cool the white guy that works there is rude really rude he needs to get fired!

Went in today and as always was immediately greeted by all the staff as always every time I come here, wanted to sell a wedding set and diamond studs, Jordan (hope I got his name right) was honest enough to tell me it’s not a good time to sell gold and suggested I get a loan instead I agreed. He loaned me double what I expected to get I was so happy again this is why I refuse to go anywhere else. This shop is very honest with exceptional customer service I recommend it to anyone needing a loan. I don’t often write reviews but had to write this one the same day :)!!!

Well. i still have my items… the lady i spoke with that told me i only had to 930am. thankfully didn’t have the last say in the matter. though i no they could have taken my property. since i was really part my due date… they didn’t! That meant the world to me!!! The young gentleman that works there called me that morning. and i told him that i was really trying to get there. he asked if i was going to at least be there that day. and i told him most defiantly! This guy is awesome!
When i finally got a ride there. he knew who i was, and told the lady my last name and i was in and out in no time! He also told me from now on to just contact him via email! And that no matter what time. he would get my message. what customer service!
As long as your honest with them. or just ask for him… they WILL work with you!!. These people that leave negative reviews regarding covina jewery and loan must not be coming in with a positive attitude! Don’t listen to their remarks. you have to go and check them out for yourselves… You won’t be sorry!
As for me… I’m still a loyal customer!

If I could give them negative stars or zero stars I would. Terrible customer service is an understatement for what I received. Some young white guy at the counter who in my mind was unbelievably arrogant and gave me the impression that he cares not for the community in which his business is located. I will never do business here buying or selling!

Neat and tidy shop with a little bit of everything. Not stocked to the rafters, but will take your information and let you know when something you are looking for is coming in. Super friendly and helpful staff. I can’t speak to their loans or what they pay to buy items, but their prices seem reasonable. They are very knowledgeable and more than willing to go the extra mile to help you make an informed buying decision. Highly recommended. My only complaint is that they may be getting more of my money in the future!

Over priced junk. the guy thats always there will be really nice untill you make a lower that expected offer. Then he gets all butt hurt and just turns colder than a witches teet in a brass bra during winter. Not interested is his favored term and just grabs the item and returns it to the shelf to collect more dust. He wont even make a counter offer cuz he is so offened. He starts to whine about how he looks up the value of these things dont cha know! Stay away… over priced. Wont haggle. Better deals on Craigslist.
He tries to sell these budget (cheap) guitars at outrageous prices. and to make it worse, he tells you they are worth thousands of dollars new. LOL Joke! He doesn’t do his research properly or he thinks you were born yesterday. I got a better deal on Craigslist for the exact same thing I was looking for, actually a better one. Ha ha… If he’d play the game, haggled, and been nicer i might have went up and bought his guitar. I had tons of cash on me that day, but I didn’t look it with long unkempt hair. lol
Be sure you do your research on what your item is worth, cuz this dude it out to burn you.
