The following day after leaving this review and feelings, I received a phone call from the Branch VP. Her name is Becky and we went forward, discussing The issues that upset me so. She spoke of moving foward and attempted to take action to change these things. The next part of the conversation really suprised me, Becky told me that if it wasn’t for others speaking up, management would not be made aware of the needs for further education and training for their employees. Then hopefully this can be prevented from happening to someone else. Overall I am very happy with the end of this story.

Do not do business with this Credit Union, especially if you are a business customer. Their online and phone account information is completely useless, especially if you are a corporate CC customer and their technology is hopelessly out of date. They also do not take care of business as they state. This is particularly true for corporate customers and churches. We have been burned any number of times in the last 10 years since our account was purchased from Southern Baptist Credit Union. We stayed because they are «Christian.» Big mistake on our part.
At one point after requesting International activation for a trip to Mexico I was actually stranded with a bad transmission and no ability to have it repaired South of the border and no Customer Service help until the following Monday when the office opened. Had they activated the card as requested this would not have occurred, had they had a customer service mindset at all this would not have occurred as I would have been able to get hold of someone who could actually make a decision. I am sure that you can imagine how distressing being stranded in a Third World country with no account access is.
At another point the balance in our savings statement showed up overdrawn with no proper warnings or disclosures. Apparently (since they made no agreements for account service with local CU’s out of their branch areas) we had paid «service fees» because our account was inactive. As an NPO existing on donor funds you can only imagine how angry this made our CFO. It took many hours of phone calls with CU management to recover a portion of our funds and closing the savings account to keep the funds. The only account we kept was the CC account, which as you can see above, was a mistake.
Again… do not do business with this CU.

A great organization. Staff at the Barranca office is wonderful. Always greeted with a smile when you walk in. Very comfortable atmosphere. Tellers are friendly and helpful. The credit union pays as good and usually better than other banks and credit unions.

I haven’t been here in months because I do everything online. The service was magnificent with outstanding friendly customer service. They quickly handled my transaction and resolved a online issue that I had.
Actually…I’m glad that online issue came about. That way… I get to see real happy people in a freshly new happy remodeled environment. Thank you for the excellent customer service.

I walked into Christian community credit union to make a withdrawal. I was pleased to see three available tellers and only one customer being helped. I quickly proceeded to stand at the wait line to be called by either available tellers. A few minutes passed. Nothing. I was clearly being ignored by not one, but two tellers! One teller kept shuffling papers while the second teller appeared to be rearranging his desk, walked away, glanced over at me, did not even acknowledge my presence, returned to his station and continued to do what seemed to be busy work. I don’t know who is running this branch but customer service is obviously not their priority! This place doesn’t deserve my business. Very sad testimony of a Christian establishment.

Banking here since my mom signed me up in 8^th grade.
The place has working pens that I can fill my forms with. I am always greeted on the way in and out. Bank teller is always happy to help. Literally always happy. They are very professional handling your cash, statement, money orders etc. I don’t think they have a minimum bank amount fee. Thinking about getting a loan from these guys for a car.
Downside: there are no cccu ATMs.
