I dealt with these guys at the beginning of 2015 and I’ve put off writing this review FOREVER. But they deserve it.
I ended up in a minor fender bender and I only had liability insurance, so I was SOL as far as my own repairs were concerned. After reading good reviews and seeing they were local to my area, I decided to give them a go.
I explained my situation to the owner; this was an older car and I didn’t expect to have it more than another year, but there was hood damage and I needed it to be safe to drive. He was very understanding and accommodating, and quoted me a very good price for the repair.
I took it in that following business day and the turnaround was about two days. When I got it back, it looked FANTASTIC. I was expecting him to cut a few corners since I basically told him it would be fine to do so, but you would have had no idea I had been in a fender bender at all. It was top quality work.
I can’t recommend these guys highly enough. Professional, sincere, and efficient.

Ted and his team are amazing. They are professional and very helpful. Someone recently made a U Turn in front of me and of course damaged my car. Ted took care of everything and handled the other insurance agency for me and his office staff arranged for my rental. Our family loves their service and the perk is that are in COVINA!

Got hit while my car was parked so I called Athens they towed my car to their shop. I then called my insurance co. They started to take my info and it was unreal it started to feel like an interrogation instead of reporting an accident. Turns out they didn’t want to cover this accident! I had full coverage and was not even in the car at time of incident!
Athens was amazing, Ted walked me through the whole ordeal of how to deal with a horrible greedy ins co. They finally had to ok the claim thanks to Teds help. I Can’t say enough about the customer service at Athens, A++! Got my car back looking brand new, thanks again Ted!

I got in an accident 5 months ago and put off fixing my car. I finally took my car to Athans Body Shop and they made the process of fixing my car so painless. They took care of everything from helping me get a rental car to dealing with the insurance company. Their rates are fair and competitive. Ted and his staff are friendly and helpful but most of all trustworthy. My car looks as good as new!

One of the guys here charged me thousands in fees and refused to give me back my money. Shady business, so do yourself and stay away. They will try to steal your money as soon as you walk in the door.

Came here because I got in on the Amazon Local deal that they participated in twice now. Deal was $ 249 for $ 500 worth of body/​paint work. My promo was expiring so I finally drove my way out to Covina to get my hood repainted. The previous owner of my car did a botched up touch up paint job and it was eating away at the clear coat. Anyway, called in to make sure Athan’s was free to work on my car and they were. Got Ted to look at my hood and said that my voucher was good enough to cover the cost to fix the paint.
Took about a week to fix my car but I would’ve probably got it done faster had it not rained, but I rented a car for a week anyway since it was only like $ 10 a day at the nearby Hertz. Picked up the car and the hood was well-​painted and perfectly color matched with the rest of the body panels. I’m very happy and satisfied with the work. Everyone that worked there was nice and cordial and I’d definitely bring it back for more work in the future… but hopefully not.

Athans auto body is more then a body shop, it’s a family. They look for your best Interest an are extremely friendly. Ted takes care of me like a father would, I’m a girl and in the auto body industry, I feel like I get taken advantage of because I don’t know. Coming here I get QUALITY work and can get assure they are not running with my money. Whenever I call the girls are super friendly and even when they Are busy they treat me with calmness and always get back to me. I would recommend this to ANYONE who needs auto body work ;)

Athens Auto and Paint is one of the best. I had my Ridgeline in for a little paint and detail work. Ted gave me a quote that beat the other shops. I’m very happy with the results. His shop called a week later to see if I was still happy with the work done. I will definitely go back to Athans if need be.

Athans Auto Body and Paint are AMAZING! If I could give more stars I would!!! Janelle couldn’t be more off base about the owner. Ted is the farthest thing from a flake. He gets the job done and he gets it done right, the first time. In my opinion you can’t be looking for a «deal» when getting auto body work done. If you ARE getting a «deal» you’re probably getting shiesty work. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!
With that said I want to say how friendly, thourough and attentive Ted and the girl (s) in the office have been. I have brought my car there on 2 different occasions becasue of 2 different accidents. I live in Anaheim which is not around the corner from Covina. If a person is willing to either drive or have their car towed 60min from where they live, there IS a reason for that.
I drive a red Audi, which given the type of car and the color, can not only be extremely expensive to fix (Audi parts are EXPENSIVE) but red is an extremely difficult color to match (it fades quick). Ted was honest and gave me a WONDERFUL price. I have been more than satisfied twice!!! Let’s hope my auto body work STOPS there! But if I had to ever get auto body work done on any cars in the future… I WILL be back!
