I called in first thing in the morning because my upright freezer stopped working overnight. The person who answered the phone was VERY RUDE, I asked if they serviced freezers and what the cost would be to have someone come look at it and he hung up on me! I called back, maybe we had been disconnected by accident, and he hung up on me AGAIN! I do not feel comfortable working with a company who would show such disrespect to a potential customer. I will not be using this company, EVER.

This is the second time we have used their services, what a pleasure! Steve was on time, had the correct part, and as always a smile. He explained to us why the problem occured and why the replacement part was better. We highly recommend their services.

I went there for the first time yesterday and Steve was so helpful. He even tested parts we thought were bad and told us they were fine. He told my husband other things to try and said he could come out the next morning if my husband couldn’t fix it. He called to see if we needed him and we did and sure enough he came the next morning. It was fixed in ½ hour. Steve knows his business and he gives excellent service. We will definitely use him again.

I’ve lived in Covina 25 years. I think they’ve been here forever. Always had good interactions. Parts and service — — -very fair and reasonable folks.

I recently purchased a vintage stove and was having difficulty finding someone to even talk about getting parts or discuss repairs without an expensive service visit. A quick phone call and email exchange with pictures and my parts were in the mail. Steve was knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. I highly recommend this company. Had a stove that only had one burner working. Steve got the part in a couple of days and at a reasonable price. Plus he gave me advice on my leaky fridge. All that and he is local can’t beat that.

I don’t normally write but Steve so helpful he doesn’t mind helping do it yourselfers like myself I was told by kitchen aid my 7year old frig was done they didn’t make part for it Steve gave me an address to have my mother board rebuilt $ 109 kitchen aid wanted to sell me a frig for $ 7000 my frig is work fine thanks to Steve Thanks Steve

Thank you to both gentlemen. Steve who answers the incoming calls and Steve, the service technician, who came to my home. Steve called before to give me an arrival time and arrived on time. My 30-​year-​old stove… which is still cooking great… well, after 30 years, the alarm for the clock began going on. Steve, the service tech, who was friendly, professional, and fixed the annoying alarm noise. Steve also checked all the burners on top as well as the oven. Great «5 star» customer service !!!

I see that 7 out of 7 reviews gave this shop five stars, so let’s make it 8 for 8. I called maybe a dozen places from Lakewood to Rancho Cucamonga for a specific part. Out of all of them, this was the only place that could get it for me the next day, and at the best price to boot. As others have mentioned, they have a great, helpful attitude. Next time I’ll skip the dialing campaign and go straight to the best source.

I was afraid my washing machine had fried the brains but in just 30 minutes my washer was repaired and running smoothly. Service was quick, efficient and cost quite a bit less than I was expecting. Thank you so much!

Great service! I called late in the afternoon to fix my stove and they came out the next morning. Found the problem quickly and fixed it within minutes. Happy to support a local business that does a great job!

I had recently bought a used Kenmore fridge on Craigslist and set up the water for the ice maker with an inline filter to discover that the fridge had a leak. After doing some looking, I narrowed it down to the inlet valve. Unfortunately, my landlord’s plumber attached the line to the bathroom sink without it’s own valve, so my bathroom sink was out with the fridge. I found this on Friday evening and didn’t want to wait for a part ordered online to get here and hope I’d ordered the right one.
I found this place on Google maps and was able to make it in Saturday morning. From the year and model of the fridge, he was able to get me the right part and they had it in stock! The guy seemed knowledgeable about changes in refrigerators from year to year and gave me a quick instruction on how to replace it. The part ended up fitting perfectly and was easy to replace.
The cost of the part was on par with Sears and other online vendors. Very happy to get the right part at a good price locally from a friendly and knowledgeable person. Thanks!

Must have called a million other places before I realized I could just walk down the street from work and pick up the part I needed. The guy found it right away, the price was better than every other place I had called, and he was incredibly nice to boot. Do yourself a favor and just come here first next time you need a random appliance part. When he gave me the part he said «yeah I have just about everything» and he was definitely not lying.

Five stars because of excellent attitude (a lot of times specialty store owners are jerks) and difficult level of what they do. Not the usual business.

I have used this shop several times over many years and they consistently do great work for a reasonable price. Additionally they are always prompt and do exactly the work promised for the price quoted. Highly recommended.

Needed an obscure part for an older stove — had it for me in moments and helped my with some minor mods that were needed as the part for mine was no longer made — even gave me some extra parts to make the mod and detailed instructions. Part and mod worked perfectly and I now have a working stove again — parts, advice, service — as good as it gets! (The part was $ 20 cheaper than at the Sears appliance part store — and those kids behind the counter there had no clue. .. .)

Great business! I have used these guys several times. Not only are they on time but sometimes they will call to see if they can be there earlier than the appointed time. Reasonable rates and the service is way above par, in and out, no wasted time or movements. They do have awesome restored appliances. By the way, Unilocal has their address wrong. It is actually 303 E Rowland Covina and I do know for a fact that they have been at that address for a long time.

This place is great. Service is great, lots of advice, very helpful. And the selection of fully restored vintage stoves is fantastic. The stoves are gorgeous. Highly recommend whenever you need help with your vintage stove.

Great customer service. They helped me troubleshoot a dryer problem. I have used other companies in the past, and i find them to be trust worthy. I will definetly use them again for service and parts.
