3 Vino’s

I had an amazing time at 3Vinos! We had reservations and a preset menu for my birthday dinner and everything was delicious right from the start. Our server, Richard was great, he was very attentive and helpful throughout the night. Thank you Tres Vinos for a fun and memorable celebration!

Just went here on February 13, 2016 to celebrate Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend.
The food is extremely overpriced! It was $ 45.00 for a steak that was precooked and was delivered to the table lukewarm, desert (which I could have made a home, chocolate strawberries & a scoop of ice cream) and a basic salad were included for that price. The drinks were a bit mediocre with their specialty, the Sangria, being overly sweet. But the wait staff was great! Our server was very nice and attentive.
If you’re just looking for a place to dance, go here! But I would NOT recommend it for a romantic night, or a first date, unless you like shouting across the table from each other. It’s very loud and there is no barrier between the dining area and the dance floor. Oh, and if you book a reservation, be aware that you have a 2 hour limit at the table, and at 10:15 PM, the dining area is the extended dance floor and you will be asked to get up and leave your table so they can remove all the tables and chairs.
It’s an older crowd 30’s+ and the music is mostly Latin, very little top 40, every other song was Pitbull, so if you go here I hope you love his music.
A couple of pros, they gave us a nice complementary picture as a souvenir of the night and parking is free at the lot behind the building. I would not go here again, unless it’s just to drink and dance. The food is not good and there are plenty of other restaurants that would have been a better choice. Oh well, live and learn.

Don’t even try to come in without a monogram Coach or LV purse, Dooney & Burke Locket, something just picket up at the «Nordies Rack» at the newly gentrified West Covina Mall.
One day I’ll have 3 kids and I hope that this place is still around so I can get a sitter have have my husband/​SGV sugar daddy take me here so I can White girl wasted on a Saturday night.

Came to this place for a birthday party… Okay, unless you’ve got reservations for one of their ‘three’ so called areas to sit in, plan on standing! It’s near impossible to get a seat at their bar, which does wraps around to the restaurant side. But who wants to sit there when you want to be where the action is? There isn’t any room to dance because people are standing in, and around the ‘so called’ dance floor and the music was so-​so. Yes, you can best believe that we won’t be coming back!

From the start of making a reservation I got the run around and major attitude. They use an answering service in which you have to play phone tag. The reservation was made a week in advance. I was not able to confirm with a live person, Christina, until the day of my party. I reserved a 10 seater with bottle service to watch a friends band, Bongo Funk, this was the only reason for being there. When we arrived we were showed our section. Not what I was promised. Christina clearly suggested the middle section because the smaller space was high traffic and much smaller for our 10 people. I informed the hostess of this and she called Christina and switched us to the larger section. Turns out we were double booked. We had to move, because of the other party. The smaller space would not fit our guests so we were going to leave. They did offer to refund my $ 180.00 that I had to pay to reserve the table and comp our drinks, $ 90.00. We had a birthday girl with us and this totally ruined our night. Our friends were playing in the band as I mention before, Bongo Funk, which were amazing but we missed out on the show due to 3 Vinos lack of professionalism and rude behavior from the beginning. I got a call today that they were only refunding the difference of our drinks and the $ 180. They have no manager on duty and I would not recommend this place to anyone. It was a nightmare night. Thanks 3 Vinos. I better get my refund.
To top it off they advertise the place as «fine dinning». Why is there duct tape all over the seats to cover up tears. In addition the run out of Lagunitas, the only IPA they have. Who does stock up on a holiday weekend? Come on…

My review is based on sunday salsa nights. This is a quaint restaurant/​bar that turns into a night club on wed and sun nights. I especially enjoy salsa dancing here. The dg plays latin music, mostly salsa. The dance floor is small but not too crowded. The cover is $ 5, but drinks are a bit overpriced.
