Walmart Supercenter

The best Walmart are the super store ones. The other best part of the super stores is the fact that they are usually open 24 hrs, that makes it easier to shop. I stopped by here after going to a show. The place didn’t creep me out going in late at night time. This store was very large, clean and everything in order. Best part was the self checkout, as I’m usually not very found of the checkout people Walmart hires.

Great location convenient, need to find anything? Find it yourself. Employees are very unhelpful!

i know, i know i am reviewing Walmart. lol. But this one is the cleanliest, most organized, most convenient Walmart I’ve ever been to. The fact that it’s 24 hours is awesome. This store has variety of fresh greens and fruits, which i found hard to see at other Walmarts in RI. From clothing, baby section, furnitures, kitchen supplies, garden, tire, paints, electronics, etc, you name it, they have it ALL. They even do photo prints!
The best part is that they have multiple self-​checkout registers that makes checking out so convenient.
The only downside would be the meat&seafood section that needs more variety and freshness. I wouldn’t buy meat here.

This walmart is very very well clean, stocked, kept up on, organized,& easy to navigate! The employees are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, polite, courtesy,& informative about products & where to find products-​some even walk you to where it is! The parking area is huge & very very well cleaned! The only problems I have had here is debit card & ebt card transactions at the check out/​cash register! One time I went in with enough money on my debit card & the transaction was denied & walked out the store after multiple efforts to make the transaction complete-don’t know how that could have happened, I did have more then enough money on my debit card! Another time I used the self checkers & I somehow crashed the computer cause of a very very high total amount of a huge food shopping haul I did-​I have no dang clue in the world on how I did that! I have had many problems at the check outs/​registers with my cards (ebt & debit) where they have been denied when I full knowingly 100% have had more then enough money on those cards for the transactions I was going in there to make or had to swipe again & then it went through! My mom called on my behalf to here about these transaction problems & failures & they didn’t offer no repeat no help at all what so ever 100%!! I do truthfully & honestly think they have serious massive deep computer & computer system problems at this location verses the North Smithfield one I have been going to with no problems at the registers/​check outs in regards to transactions I have made! All have gone beautifully & heavenly perfect so far & I have been going to that one since December 2014 because of this walmart! With the self checker incident I had to go get the money by withdrawing it from the atm located in the store in the customer service location & I left so damn frustrated & bent by that ordeal I just went through in there! With the one time incident I referred towards the very very top! I had to leave empty handed mind you I went at 3 – 4:30 in the a: m by cab! So I wasted money that I will never see back on a cab trip where I left with nothing! One time because of a transaction denied when I had more then enough money on my debit card! I had to ask for money from my mom which I felt so extremely wicked uncomfortable & embarrassed to do! But thankfully she had no problem but with that she had to put some stuff of her’s back cause she went in there with a set amount & had to help me out! & then I felt like total absolute complete crap about that! But I realized it wasn’t my fault about what just happened in the store at all what so ever 100%!! So that was all extremely wicked absolute total complete down right b. s that didn’t have to or need to happen & could have been so wicked extremely preventable easily if they had normal correct full operating computers & computer systems! All these times with problems with the computers denying my transaction & hiccups! I went home & checked my online banking-​all good & true on my end! More then enough money was on my debit card & with my ebt card called the 1888 # on the card & same thing! I even called my bank & they confirmed to me & in this post that it was nothing & had nothing to do with their banks computers & computer system-​all green lights go & 24k gold on my banks part! Some guy told me his wife has had problems too here as well with transactions where her card/​s have been denied or has had hiccups-​with her having more then enough money on it as well with me when walking into the building to do business! I have had problems with the human run registers/​check outs & the self equally 100%!! Also when they are the most busy they only have like up to 4 out of like what around 25 registers open-​that causes a bottleneck in the store to where you have to go all around the line just to get to the other side of the store! That so needs to change along with their computers & computer systems! They lost my mom & I as customers for life & we absolutely totally completely swore & lived by this walmart for a few years & were always raving about it up in-​till this past yr due to all these problems with the computers & computer systems! My mom also once or twice as well had to walk away for the same problems with the computers & computer systems! You have been fairly warned & extreme beware this place!

Third time going to the tire service at this location. I didn’t need a big job done, just one wheel balanced. I was told to try it out unfortunately I won’t be able to. Every time I go there (now the third time) there is a obnoxious long wait. The first two times I was told just to get me in would be a two hour wait. This time today was an hour and a half! I guess they don’t have time for the little jobs… If you don’t mind waiting around all day go here if you want quick service this is not your place. I will take my business elsewhere.

I really don’t have much to say about wallyworld here in coventry it’s a lot nicer than the rimall walmart and the ghetto post rd walmart

This is a relatively newer store that is setup pretty well with plenty of fresh fruit/​veggies and a good selection of other food items. I was able to find some bed linens that I’ll need tomorrow when I move into my new apt and they had them at a good price of just $ 14.88, which my wife told me was a very good price for those (she’s much more knowledgeable than me on this type of thing).
Not a store that I’ll be shopping at on a regular basis, I’ll be shopping closer to Pawtucket instead.

Looks pretty old — the flooring is some sort of brown concrete with some cracks. They’ve tried updating their fixtures and general layout, but the structure itself definitely gives off the cliché Walmart vibe of dingy and cheap.
The bathrooms are also pretty gnarly.
At least the employees were really nice!

Ok it’s a walmart. It is definitely better than the one at the ri mall… But still not that great. Customer service is hit or miss, they NEVER have enough registers open, and who ever is in charge of stocking the merchandise does a horrible job. I’m sorry but I’ve gone in there every week over the past month and the one thing I want has not been in stock. Also if you stop to look at something for more than like 2 mins, an employee starts following you around. Seriously? Not to mention half the people that shop there are rude and apparently don’t know that in ri it’s a state law that you have to STOP, not roll for a person in a crosswalk. I only go because it’s close to me and I will never support a dirty store like price rite

Clean, fairly new and large walmart with groceries.
Employees were relatively friendly and store was pretty organized and we’ll kept.
Can’t say much more… It’s walmart!

It’s walmart there isn’t much more to say. It’s essentially the same one you would find in Idaho to California and Florida.
They stock efficiently and have almost everything you could ever need.
I wish they opened more lanes at night though.

Standard run of the mill Wal-​Mart Supercenter, with a full grocery section that includes produce and frozen and meats. And all the usual Wal-​Mart stuff, like electronics and pharmacy and clothing and toys.
The two associates that I dealt with were both polite and helpful.
Very large parking area.

Typical WalMart. The benefit is that it is a 24 hour location, which seems to attract all types of species in the early am hours. Easy in an out if the registers are properly manned.
Photo Dept stinks. Tire Dept is OK too.

Coventry Walmart is probably the only Walmart that isn’t ghetto actually. The store is clean where as most others are not organized and dirty. This one is 24 hours which is convenient and you won’t find cheaper prices on just about everything. The grocery department is huge, they also have a salon, subway, nails, bank, cell phone store etc all inside. I think it is way better then Target personally they have a bigger selection and better prices. Plus people usually go to Target to try and seem like they’re too good for Walmart when at the end of the day they both sell the same shit only Walmart you’ll save money. Jusssst Saying :)

As far as a Wal-​Mart goes, this one isn’t half bad. But then again, it’s a Wal-​mart.
The selection of food here is pretty impressive, though I don’t shop here regularly. That said, there is a pretty vast selection of gluten free items, particularly pasta, and at an extremely reasonable price.

This Walmart is right off the I-​95 Hwy — exit 7. It has the nice grocery section, as well as other staple areas for Walmarts. Overall your average full service Walmart…

I buy American made products to support the working people. The froz fish is labeled as USA Product, but it isn’t. The sticker is removable and it states «Caught in China» under the label. I am disappointed.

Scary. Ghetto. Awful. I’ve never been in a Walmart (I’m a Target girl), but thought I would go in for Diet Coke. Same price as the grocery store, but SKETCHY.

First off… this is walmart we are talking about… and to be completely honest I hate walmart.
This is a newer store and seems to be in order most times… not messy. It has stayed clean and the staff are fairly helpful.
It has a large grocery section with a decent selection. The meat all looks gross to me but is priced well.
I feel they need self-​checkout lanes but maybe that isn’t in their security plan.
