Most individuals who enter our industry do so in quite the opposite manner than we did. They accumulate the service industry experience then open a retail store. We assembled the retail, corporate & business knowledge first, the industry knowledge second & then opened a retail store in 1986. This path allowed our family-​owned business to professionalize and ‘polish’ our tarnished industry by offering a high standard in customer service backed by an educated & trained staff.

I was a customer of Pool and Patio for 22 years. Not anymore. I went in to buy a replacement safety cover and was quoted and paid $ 1200. Three days later I received a contract with a new price of $ 1500. When I called to question the change I was told that the price was actually $ 1700.00 but they gave me numerous discounts to bring the price down to $ 1500.00 ($ 300 more than I was quoted and had already paid.) Cancelled the order and went down the street to The Pool Doctor and paid $ 1250.00 for the same cover.

I have been doing business with Pool and Patio for many years, ever since they installed my AG pool in 1996. Their expertise is without comparison. A problem with the water? They know just how much of what to add. They have free water analysis for routine checks. Everyone here is very pleasant, helpful and knowledgable. They also have an amazing assortment of anything to do with backyard fun.

I recently called Pool and Patio to repair my hot tub. It cost me $ 125 for the service call to get an estimate. The estimate was for $ 875 to replace the heater and top controls. I found that price ridiculous and I was correct. The repairs were completed for $ 500 by someone else more trustworthy. BEWARE OF POOL AND PATIO THEY WILL TAKE YOU FOR A RIDE! I was an 8 year customer, even bought the unit from them! I will never do business with them again.

We just had our in-​ground pool liner replaced and a new pump and filter installed. The consultation, service and constant follow up from Pool & Patio was top notch. We had a few months deciding who in RI to go with for our new pool. I’m excited to say we certainly picked the right company. We could be happier with our choice!

We bought a Sharkline Pool here over 20 years ago and it has been great along with the support from the store. This year the walls finally began to show rust so it was time for a replacement. Obviously we headed right to Coventry and scheduled our new pool. A few days later, a family emergency arose in Florida that basically meant no Summer in RI for us. I called the store and without hesitation, they promised to refund my deposit and, sure enough, 2 days later the refund notification arrived in the mail. They were the right choice for me 23 years ago and will be my choice again next year!

This place is top notch! That kid Mike is a real life saver. We had a party on the fourth of July at 3 o’clock. We opened a swampy pool on July 2nd. Mike waved a magic wand and we were crystal clear. Thanks Mike!

We bought our Bullfrog spa at Pool and Patio Center almost three years ago and we couldn’t be happier that we purchased it there! We spent several months researching spa tubs and visiting different showrooms. The folks at Pool and Patio were fantastic from the start and made sure we tried out a spa similar to the one we wanted to purchase before we bought it. Whenever we have had issues with our tub, they have always been very helpful and will even come to our house to service! The customer service and caring staff are top-​notch!
Unfortunately we had an issue with a rebate program that Bullfrog was running when and the folks at Pool and Patio made sure to take care of our issues for us. While there are pool and spa stores near our home, we are happy we chose Pool and Patio Center for our purchase and service — it’s worth the 45 minute drive!

I’ve never been to a store that took more care of me then Pool and Patio! Joe really helped me. He explained why my pool was green in a way I could understand and sold me all the right products. Within two days my pool was crystal clear! Joe even called to see how I made out!!! Keep up the good work Pool and Patio!
