Really good! Just moved to this area and this place was recommended. We were very happy, prices are good and food is great. Love the egg rolls and sesame chicken :) customer service was excellent

This is not actually a «restaurant,» but it has a few tables and a dining room. Order your meal off the typical faded picture menu overhead, or take one of the thousand (literally, I’m not kidding) printed take-​out menus laying on the counter. The selling point is the price. The food was quite good, though nothing out of the ordinary for such a place. But when you consider the lunch special is only $ 5.75 for a big plate of food — I had Kung Pao Chicken with pork fried rice and an egg roll — it’s tough to beat, especially if you’re a nearby UConn student.
Service was fast, although the server (attendant?) only jumped up from watching videos on her iPhone when someone walked in the door. All food is packed To Go, even if you plan on eating in the sparse dining room. Tremendous waste. Everything served in plastic dishes, packed in bags, then you walk five feet from the counter, unpack it all, and eat your meal — then throw it all away. Speaking of that, if you’re picking up take-​out, be sure to grab your own condiments. Next to the thousand menus is a rack of duck sauce, hot sauce, mustard, napkins, plastic utensils, etc.
I rarely eat at these kind of Chinese joints, but I was out past lunch time and had read some raves on Unilocal about it. I could have opted for another plate of wings at the Bidwell, right around the corner. I’m glad I tried out Panda Garden. It was a good lunch. Seemed fresh and definitely hot, since I got it right out of the wok. And you can’t beat the price. Worth a visit (or a take out) for sure.

The best Food around and very affordable pricing. I’ve eaten here several times and love their dishes. The lunch time menu is very cheap $ 6, but the portions are very giving. Everyone is very polite and professional. This is a hidden gem for takeout.

I hope these bad reviews are a joke!!! This place is amazing, cheap and the woman who works is there is so sweet you couldn’t not love it! I went there for the lunch special and for $ 6 I got a generous portion of rice and chicken and it was delicious!

Tried it 3 times and have been disappointed all three times. Everything lacks flavor and does not smell or taste fresh. Only the deep fried items are OK.

One of the best! Food is prepared to order, which seems like a luxury in most chinese restaurants. Flavorful, fresh, seasoned well, and take out is always hot.

We order at least 1/​month and it’s always good-​pretty much typical Chinese fare. Friendly workers-​clean and consistent.

Love this place when I go into coventry. Never had a bad meal. Always have left overs. And the lady remembers my order all the time and I’m only there maybe once a month. She even sees me while not there and says hi and asks how I am! They are so nice.. Really I should go more offen!

Worst meal ever. Trio Kung Pao. Says nothing about peanuts which they covered the top with. 2 pieces of shrimp. Barely any chicken or beef. Beef was real fatty, had to spit it out. The whole meal was celery and carrots!!! Also the girl who took the order could barely speak English. Horrible food!

As far as middle Connecticut goes…4 stars.

We have been patrons of the Panda Garden since they opened. We have never had a bad meal from them.

Good Chinese take out. It is very clean and the people that run it are very nice and very friendly.

Very friendly service. Always a smiling face. Food is good and you can see them cooking. Clean and fast. I wish they delivered but they are so much better than the only other Chinese place in Coventry that does deliver that I get my lazy butt in the car and go get it.

This place is decent. The food is very good compare to other take out restaurants, and the price is fair.
The only thing I was hoping for is they would have delivery! Then, it would be Perfect! :)

Always good food. Never disappointed. For a Chinese restaurant it’s very very clean. In fact I would put it up against ANY other restaurant. You can see the whole cooking area and that’s the first thing I noticed.
I suggest take out only.

Their sweet and sour soup is good, and I like their General Tso’s chicken. Pretty reasonable prices, and they are always friendly. Good for Chinese takeout when you don’t feel like cooking.
