History

Established in 1968.

Proudly serving the Town of Coventry & neighboring communities as Shopper’s Liquors for nearly four decades. In January 2014, the Great Nephew of the original owner acquired the business & slowly began the business transformation.

Today, Main Street Wine & Spirits has become a fine wine, hard to find craft beer & liquor store choice for many satisfied customers. We pride ourselves on our unique, local, organic & gluten free product varieties along with sincere customer service.

With «Small Business» ingrained in my bloodlines from entrepreneurial parents and family, and years of dreaming to own my own business; I successfully acquired Shopper’s Liquors in December 2013 from my Great Uncle.

Now Main Street Wine & Spirits is significantly different in appearance and experience. I embarked on a mission to create a store and environment that was similar to what I sought in a wine, beer and liquor store. Naturally a people person, I sincerely have a passion for people and absolutely revel in the awesome conversations and fantastic people I have met through the business and industry. Imagine, my day-​to-​day is spent speaking with fans of craft beer, wino’s and spirit customers on taste attributes and drink recipes! Not all fun as there is business to take care of; but it all balances out!
