It was an easy decision to study photography as my major in college. I was just so comfortable and confident with the camera in my hand. I graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in 1997. Looking back, I remember one of my photography professors stated to his 40 student class «Take a look around the room… maybe ONE of you will make a living as a photographer.». I am so blessed to be here today as a professional photographer.
Soon after college, I worked as an assistant for a commercial photographer in Providence. The advice that I was given for the best way to get my foot in the door as a professional photographer was to shoot weddings.
