In general, I like this store. Thy price match local ads, and most of the staff is helpful. They bring your groceries out and load them for you. My only complaint is that some of the younger guys in the meat section are either talking amongst themselves and ignoring what the customer wants (given the wrong type of brats twice), or they are complaining about «demanding customers». If I didn’t like the price and quality of the meats so much, I would not put up with that pretty much every time I go there.

i love Fareway old-​school mentality. It’s nice to be helped and feel appreciated. The produce and meat are always on sale when in season. I can always get a killer deal on fruit and veggies. I’ve payed as low as $.99 for a pound of ground turkey. Other items in the store can get very pricey. Don’t come here looking for something uncommon or exotic.
We’re always helped out to our car, which makes me feel weird, especially when my car is oober dirty.
Overall the employees that work here are genuine and helpful.

My wife and I go to Fareway about once a month to get a killer deal or some fresh produce.
This past weekend, Fareway had Sweet Washington Cherries for $ 1.88 a pound while all of the other grocery stores had them for $ 3.88 a pound. My wife jumped at this and she got a couple pounds.
The service at Fareway is great as well. They will help you out to your car with your groceries, (which I don’t utilize), and will basically not accept a tip. That is the cherry on top.
Since their selection is kind of small, my wife only tend to go to Fareway if the price is right. But they have had some awesome deals lately.

I just moved to the neighborhood and this is the closest store to my home. I can say that I am pleased as punch! They have your normal selection of items, however, the meat department is incredible! It’s like an actual butcher counter back there. And they help you get your items out to your car, just like in the old days. Only drawback, for me, they are closed on Sundays.
