I was in from Atlanta and used Unilocal to find a good«non chain» place for dinner. Good choice. The waitress was great. I tried the fried pickles, New England clam chowder, wedge salad and bacon cheese burger. All tasted great. I highly recommend this place.

Had dinner here with a guest last night. My guest ordered Salmon and I ordered the 14oz ribeye. Overall experience was ok. I was pretty disappointed with the super thin $ 27 ribeye. However, the flavor was good, the service was fantastic, from the bartender, and the beer was cold!

A must for Sunday brunch! The meal in a mug which is a bloody mary that includes a bacon wrapped boiled egg, giant pork tenderloin, jerky stick, cheese cubes, cocktail onions, charbuffed wings, and a plethora of other things along with a side car of beer is an experience in & of itself. I order bacon with every meal, because it is thick cut & cooked to perfection. The pancakes that I have nicknamed«Angel Cakes» are heavenly. Service is always superb. I also recommend grabbing drinks & a meal here before Stir Cove shows. Golf course views on the patio are also fantastic!

Filet Benedict is the main attraction today. This dish is amazing, a perfectly seasoned filet that I could cut with my fork, topped with an egg and hollandaise sauce. The potatoes had a perfect blend of onion and peppers which just set it apart. This place is off the charts for innovation and quality, with a staff that is on point. I have high standards for food/plating/service and Caddy’s Riverside Grille delivers… Proud to support this CB destination!!!

We made reservations for New Year’s Eve at 5:30. Not really because we were dying to go there, as we’ve eaten there once before and it was just okay at best. We went on NYE because we failed to make reservations at one of our favorite spots soon enough, and this was one of the few places we could get into on NYE that still had reservations available 2 days before NYE. They were taking«seatings» at 5:00 and 5:30 and two later seatings; however if you made the earlier reservations your table was guaranteed to you until the 7:00 downtown fireworks show was over. We really didn’t even think about the fireworks show, but it was a bonus. The restaurant was pretty empty at 5:20, but by 5:45 it was full. The menu was limited as most are on NYE. Unfortunately our waitress was very unfamiliar with the entrees, as she could not answer any questions we had about them. She offered to go ask the cook, but things were already moving slowly so we made our best picks. I ordered the pork tenderloin that came with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. She said there was an optional sauce and described what sounded like a creamy white/cheese sauce with mushrooms. Yum. I said«perfect» and ordered that on my pork. Our salads came out within 10 minutes, and once we finished those we must have waited 35 minutes or so for our meals to start coming to the table. There were 6 of us. 3 of us received our meals and the other 3 did not come out to our table for at least another 10 minutes. Disappointing and awkward. My pork tenderloin was cooked well done… completely white and dry. The sauce that sounded so good was not as described… it tasted like basic brown gravy… similar to what you would get on a hot beef sandwich, only with mushrooms. My asparagus cooked until limp, with not much flavor. The garlic whipped potatoes were okay, however the brown«gravy» took away from it. One in our party ordered the airline chicken breasts. I did taste it and must say the chicken was the tenderest chicken breast I’ve tasted, but I just wasn’t thrilled with the ingredients it was served with. Two in our party ordered the salmon. While they both said the flavor of the«sweet chili sauce» it was served with was okay, the salmon was dry. The other two ordered prime rib, which they both said was«pretty good», and I got the feeling they were being polite with the«pretty good» comment. Since I didn’t eat much of mine at all, I decided to order the bread pudding described as «Banana bread pudding with vanilla bean ice cream and spiced rum caramel». Sounded delicious. What came out was a square dry piece of bread with a vague hint of banana. No spiced rum caramel. Not worth even eating. The vanilla bean ice cream was good, although the portion of ice cream was very small. At moderate to high pricing, this entire meal was a complete fail. Maybe the extremely slow service was due to seating the entire restaurant at the same time, but perhaps they should have thought about that when they planned the seating time. A big chunk of change for a meal that took 2 hours to complete, and left unsatisfied and hungry. Oh…almost forgot… the fireworks were great. Probably the best view to be had as they were set off directly across the river. We would’ve rather had a good meal with no fireworks though.

For all the hype, The food is over priced for the quality. Although it’s the same owner as Salty Dog the charbuff wings here were very disappointing compared to salty dog, the children’s Mac n cheese was terrible it tasted funky. The service could have been better I think my server can to my table a total of 3 times, the initial greeting and waters which took about 7 minutes, then to take our order and drop our food off. based from my experience I wouldn’t recommend going there nor would I suggest going there if I were asked to pick a place to eat.

To me, this place was more of a 3.5−3.75, but I’m rounding up. Now, the b/f loooooooves Bloody Mary’s, but I can’t speak for it personally since tomato juice is not on my list of enjoyable beverages. I did, however, knowingly suggest we go here just for their Meal in a Mug drink for his enjoyment. Unlike some of the older reviews, the drink is now priced at $ 15. Based on the garnishes, this drink looked incredible, and the actual drink part was large itself. Garnishes included a celery stick, hard-boiled egg wrapped in bacon, shrimp skewer, slim jim, pickle, olives, cheese, and a slider. I think you were also able to upgrade the drink to their $ 25 version which included a few other things(seafood maybe?). So, beyond the drink, this place was a-ok. We went for brunch but mainly ordered lunch food items, which were priced around $ 10-$ 15, so pretty affordable. I chose the prime rib french dip for my lunch entrée and upgraded to waffle fries for $ 2 extra. The sandwich was pretty delicious, and the au jus(sp?) broth was enjoyable as well. Pretty pleased with our choices, and we will probably be back here again when we feel like gambling a little. Our server was polite, and we had an overall enjoyable experience.

We have eaten here on several occasions and the food is decent. But to charge the same price for a Bloody Mary with no alcohol as you do for one with alcohol is absurd. We even questioned the waitress and she asked the bartender again and said it was true. Wow. That is a bunch of BS. Used to be a promoter but too many other good places in omaha that are closer and better for designated drivers and people on call. Update: The owner contacted me after this post and they are going to start serving virgin Meal in a mugs at a lower cost. Thanks for listening. Don’t forget to think about the regular bloody mary as well!

What a fantastic evening. Coming from Los Angeles, where a restaurant lasts as long as it’ll take you to read this review, I was more than surprised by how great this place is! Great staff, great bar, fantastic food! A diamond in the rough if you will. If you’re staying at Harrah’s and not eating here you’re losing more than just a quarter on the slots. Thank you Caddy’s for changing my opinion of Omaha/Council Bluffs, there is GREATFOOD to be had in these here parts. Cheers!

The 5 stars are for the meal in a mug Bloody Mary’s. you will seriously get full, no other food needed. It’s a double bloody with a bacon wrapped boiled egg, a slider, which is fantastic, slim jim, cocktail shrimp, asparagus, blue cheese and jalapeño cream cheese olives, pearl onions, and pickles!!! Also comes with a beer chaser! At $ 12, it’s a steal!

I’m not normally influenced by the behaviors of others, but I couldn’t help but notice that Matt M. checks into this place every Sunday. After I ran into Sarah and she waxed poetic about the«meal in a mug» bloody mary, I was intrigued. O.M.G. For $ 12, your spicy, peppery bloddy mary comes fully loaded with you mini bacon cheese slider, blue cheese stuffed olives, chunks of cheddar, shrimp, tomato, onion, lemon wedge, lime wedge, pickled asparagus, celery, a slim jim and comes with a mini beer back. This, being our first time, I naively ordered additional food… chicken wings, cobb salad, reuben with fries. Eight hours later, I’m still recovering from my food coma, but have no regrets as I recline on the couch to write this review. Bloody Mary. Yum. You’ve got to like the made from scratch variety, however. Chicken wings. Incredible. Cobb salad. Well, it’s just a salad. Reuben. Didn’t disappoint, but not the best in the area. Fries, super fresh, hot and crunchy. Two mega-bloodys, one salad, one entrée, one order of wings… all for $ 53 on this spectacular Sunday of staring out onto the golf course and getting my sodium bolus on! Prices are reasonable. Food options are great. Good service. Nice atmosphere. Patio situation for a sunny day. GOTOTHERE!

Located in the golf course clubhouse across from Harrahs, this 19th hole is going to get busy if they market at all. And I am obviously not a ticked off golfer that had their weekly Wednesday specials taken away when Caddy’s came to be. No offense, but take reviews on hot dogs lightly as well. They need to get it right, but that is not what Caddy’s does as a restaurant in my opinion. Here’s the real scoop… I had the meatloaf and let me tell you, it was damn good. Tender and infused with bacon as well as topped with bacon bits. My neck started pulsating just looking at the plate. LOL It had a drizzle of some kind of dark sauce, almost like a cross between red eye gravy and BBQ sauce, with a dash of chili powder. Really good. The mashed potatoes and asparagus sides were just fine as well.

This review is based primarily — okay solely — on the ‘meal in a mug’ bloody Mary I had at Caddy’s last Sunday. Who needs brunch when you can have a bacon cheddar slider and 4 shots of vodka? We did also attend the soft opening /appetizer bonanza a few weeks back, but that’s not really an accurate way to judge. Here’s the rundown on that masterfully crafted, expertly skewered, gem of a bloody I had the pleasure of enjoying last Sunday. — the aforementioned Cheddar Bacon Slider, with a mini dill pickle — hard-boiled egg, wrapped in bacon — lime & lemon wedges — slim Jim beef stick — celery stalk — a tiny and surprisingly spicy pickled pepper with a shrimp — a skewer of cheese blocks with stuffed green olives(both blue cheese and pimento) I’m not really sure on the mug size, but it easily had to be in excess of 25 oz. All for the very reasonable price of $ 15! Time for a nap. Now while this might be enough for some, you could take it up a notch with sirloin steak, seared scallops and a whole lobster tail… because it’s always nice to have options!

For those of you familiar with the Salty Dog Bar & Grill this new restaurant is owned by the same people. They have carried over their commitment to great food and outstanding customer service. This is a «nicer» style restaurant(white linen table cloths) but it is by no means overly fancy or uncomfortable and the pricing is more than fair. We went for the soft opening and tried many items. Granted there were a few«misses» as there always will be, but for the most part the food was very good. The highlights were the salads, fried lasagna, mac n cheese & the bacon cheeseburger meatloaf. On my second visit today we tried the shrimp & tenderloin scampi appetizer and the beef tenderloin stroganoff and both were outstanding. The stroganoff came with the choice of soup or salad and I chose a wedge salad. I was pleasantly surprised at what a quality salad was included without a up charge. Give this new place a try — it’s only 5 minutes from downtown — I think you will be pleased.
