High Desert Pest & Weed Control

Everyone should stay well away from High Desert Pest and Weed Control. He is an arrogant Jerk! The guy told me $ 100 over the phone to do my ¼ acre lot. Then when he got there he said $ 120. He argued and said he never gives quotes over the phone. LIE! He walked through my yard casually spraying around and I asked him aren’t you going to do the entire yard and he got all huffy puffy and irritated when i pointed out all of the spots that he clearly missed. He wouldn’t even spray under my trampoline. He was not thorough at all. I then asked why he didn’t spray my driveway and he said it wasn’t included! It was $ 20 extra. Neither was the 2 feet by 20 feet stretch by the road. Another $ 20! Then I pointed out the small dog run and he said oh yeah another $ 10!!! Unbelievable! It cost $ 170 to spray my ¼ acre lot. He also never warned me that it would dye my entire yard green and blue. He said it wouldn’t color my white dog’s fur which it did. I now have stained concrete, too! So, a whole week later those weeds have not died. They are still growing. They never changed color to yellow or brown. Not even wilting! They are growing! The grass in the dog run is taller! His $ 170 spray didn’t even phase my problem. $ 170 worth of Round Up would have gone a lot further! I called him and asked him about it and he got super rude and sarcastic and defensive! He literally said, «What did you think would happen?!, the weeds would get up and run to the trash can!!!» For $ 170 yeah buddy Something like that. What a jerk. He then hung up on me when i asked him to come look at my yard and see that I was telling the truth. Now he won’t return my phone calls and never answers when I call. Everyone should stay well away from High Desert Pest and Weed Control. He is an arrogant Jerk!

This time of year (Oct-​Dec) — Everyone in Sedona is busy, so be patient with them.
Coming from Phoenix — I was not use to problems with mice. It seems that when i called last time everyone in the area was so busy they could not get to me for 2 weeks.
I rent my home out by the month and i need a company to be able to respond to my inquiry the same day. This company was the only one that i was able to get in touch with at that time.
I had to leave messages on voice mail and got called back 2 – 3 days later.
He referred me to another company to help me with my problem. We since have set up a working relationship to help with the issue when it arrises again.
I had my home sealed 2 years ago by another company. That company will not stand behind their work. You may contact me for more information about them.
I would recommend calling this company for your problems. If he can not help you quickly — he will refer you and not leave you hanging like the other companies did me.
Trust this guy to do what he says he will do.

I am new to the area and was surprised that a yard full of rocks could have as many weeds as it did. Not anymore. The owner, Paul, is very attentive and takes care of all weed issues.
I called him today to ask about spraying for indoor/​outdoor pests and he came right over! Great, friendly service.

I have used High Desert Weed and pest control for almost 6 years now and they are awesome!!!
When I bought my house in Lake Montezuma I thought I’d be able to keep up with the weeds myself because I don’t mind a little hard work but my weeds got completely out of control in no time, it was a jungle. I tried to hire someone at that point and they wouldn’t even do it because it was too bad.
I called High Desert and they really have been amazing ever since. I haven’t had to pull a weed or be embarrassed of my yard! What they do works 100% and I haven’t had any problems with bugs either! Thank goodness!
Over the years Ive had to call here and there and always have very courteous friendly conversations. Once was over a credit card issue on my end that could have been a bother to them but they were still nice!
No ones paying me or making me write this I just love when I find a company with that polite small town feel that still believes in great customer service.
