I really do love pacific beach! I try not to use tanning beds too often because of the harmful effects, but if I do go to tan like before spring break or a special event… I always go here. They have the nicest beds, it’s a very clean facility, and friendly employees. I do however use their versa spa a lot and I absolutely love it! And they have the versa spa pro, which is my favorite. They also have a large selection of lotions you can purchase that really help you get your tan on! I do believe they also offer other services like teeth whitening, and Aqua massage. All in all if I am going to go tanning, this is my place.

Since I quit fake baking a few years ago, I opted to switch to the spray tan. So this review is only going to be based upon my Versaspa tan experience. I’ve tried the Versaspa at multiple locations around St. Louis, but this was the most disappointing, I’ve had. Maybe I’m spoiled by the other locations, but this just didn’t do it for me. Originally bought a groupon for 2 spray tans for $ 12. Pretty good deal right? Well, I get there and they inform me that if I want the moisturizing pass, that it would be an extra $ 3. I don’t remember seeing that in the groupon anywhere. All the other places I’ve gone, this has been included in the tan. Okay, so we’re up to $ 9 a tan. Still not horrible, but annoyed to say the least. I go back to the room, I get started and I look for the barrier cream. This what you typically put on your fingers and toes. No where to be found, but there were baby wipes. So, I figured I’d just jump in and go and see what happens, and then use the baby wipes after. Let’s just say the baby wipes didn’t work. For some weird reason, your fingers and toes get much darker than anywhere else on your body, and it makes no sense, but as we type I have hands that are the color of tree bark. So, a less than exciting experience. I’ll be sticking with the competitor from now on who make spray tanning their #1 business not fake baking. If it’s the same product, might as well go where the perks are better with it.
