One of the best fast food burgers in Saint Charles County… Or really one of the only fast food chain burger places I still can tolerate.

Nothing says«ripped off» like Freddy’s steakburgers and fries. I ordered a Chicago Style Hot Dog combo with fries and what i got was a frozen hot dog on a frozen bun. This cost me over 5 dollars. You can see what i mean. If you’re really in the mood to waste some money you can purchase the Freddy’s Vegetable«burger», which consists of a bun, Freddy’s sauce, cheese, onion, lettuce, and a single slice of tomato. The only reason im giving two stars is because its clean, and the ice cream is good.

I’d not been to a Freddy’s before but I think I like it better than Steak ‘n Shake. I ordered a single cheese with was perfectly done — no fries because I knew I’d get a sundae a little later. I got a plain caramel sundae that was heavenly! I will definitely return!

Good burgers. Nice fries. Dig the Freddy sauce. But lordy, the service, ugh! Correct orders at the drive thru are 50% at best. I stopped going. Too many mistakes.

I came here for the first time today. Freddy’s is similar to steak n’ shake and Culver’s. The burgers are similar and they have shoe-string fries like steak n’ shake, except Freddy’s fries have a bit more seasoning. I did the drive-thru and had about a 15 – 20 minute wait. The young lady at the window was sweet and apologized for my wait without me complaining. The food was ok, nothing to write home about. I was shocked that my burger only had mustard, onion, and pickle on it though. I asked for everything(and to be fair that may have been everything). But still, for as overpriced as my meal was, i needed way more than that! People on Unilocal were raving about the fry sauce so i got some. It was overrated. It tastes similar to 1000 island dressing but with less flavor. Red Robin’s campfire fry sauce is waaaaay better. I had a chocolate concrete with m&ms. It was ok. I have to say i like Culver’s and lion’s choice concretes better. Freddy’s is pretty expensive. My meal with a single cheeseburger combo and mini concrete came out to $ 10.

Burgers and fries were excellent. The custard was very good, but the cashews I added to my sundae had an odd taste. Overall very enjoyable.

We discovered Freddy’s in Joplin and Branson a few years ago. I was excited to see them come to the St. Louis area. The food and frozen custard have always been solid. I prefer Freddy’s to Steak and Shake. The fries are always fresh and stay warm during your meal. Make sure you try the fry sauce. My favorite fast food hamburger spot.

Consistent quality! The burgers were perfect with a nice crispy edge and the fries were phenomenal. Staff was friendly and thanked us more than once. The Manager was working the dining room and making sure all customers were happy. That’s how you do it!

Steak n Shake better step it up as Freddy’s is by far fresher, cleaner, and the staff goes the extra mile to treat you cordially. The burgers patties are similar however, the lettuce, tomato, and onion are much higher quality than Steak n Shake. The fries are basically the same but with Freddy’s you get consistently hotter ones than SnS. The custard and sundaes yummy and also better than SnS.

I’ve recently heard from the managers who whole heartedly apologized for the actions of their employees. They did not try to make up excuses but instead guarantees this was a one time event and have recently made changes to prevent this from happening again. I will be returning.

Good custard but the restaurant was incredibly dirty. Not one clean table in the place. Napkin holder was empty and garbage overflowing. It was 7:30 on Sunday and only 3 other groups eating. There was no excuse for the poor conditions. Judging from other reviews, this is not unusual here. Go to Jungermann store

Went there at 10:50PM, hours state they are open until 11PM. Sat at the drive up waiting for someone to answer me as I kept saying hello. I had seèn workers inside but nobody ever responded to me. The least they could have done was tell me they were not taking any more orders, even though it was during the time they were still open. I took my large order next door to Canes!

We had great service! We ate there and someone was immediately there to take our order. It was ready quickly as well. It was my second time eating here and I asked some questions which they happily answered for me. The steak burgers and fries are better than Steak ‘n Shake for sure! The place was also very clean! I came through the drive-thru the other day and it did take a bit to get my order, but they were busy and the food was hot and fresh. Fresh food takes longer. Beats crappy food at other places that might be faster. I don’t know why there are some poor reviews on here when we didn’t have that experience at all.

Went here recently to support my Kindergartener’s school with a fundraising meal push they had. I ordered the kids cheese burgers and I had a double bacon cheese burger. They have what I think are good fries but they are the skinny kind and get cold quickly and would have been better if I stayed to eat instead of bringing them home for everyone. The burger was good but again would have been better if I could have eaten it there, I had to get all the kiddos meals setup and ready before eating so everything wasn’t really warm. The sandwich was put together pretty well though. I liked their fry dipping sauce and they have spices you can sprinkle on you burger or fries. Conveniently they have this all at the order pick up window and little sauce cups with lids to take them home with you. All in all I would for sure go back, but I would eat in and not take it home because of the cooling down food. I want to try their ice cream next. Better than the other option that is famous for Steak burgers.

We usually go to the one on Jungermann, but we were near this one… So we stopped in. BIGMISTAKE! The place was filthy. The workers were less than friendly. We will continue to patronize the one on Jungermann!

Worst service ever 8 minutes waiting for a cheese burger, chicken fingers and fries and the only car in line. Great food. Go to the location on Jungerman. Terrible service.

Recently had been into Freddy Burgers on Wednesday prior to my Sunday visit and shared half a burger with my husband. I had spied a Chicago style hot dog on your menu so went back Sunday to order same. I am from the Chicago area and familar with the best Chicago hot dogs around(Gene and Jude’s). I was excited to get my take out home and sink my teeth into the plump and juicy hot delite, but sadly it was not the case. Instead, what is being passed off as a Chicago hot dog is a object closer to jerky than a hot dog. They GRILLTHEDOG… making it tough and dry. Someone forgot to do their research on Chicago dogs when trying to pass this thing as one. Twice went to FB’s and once very disappointed with my purchase, and both times rather taken back by the prices. Probably won’t be eating there again.

I’ve never heard of this place. My wife who ate at Freddy’s a week ago in Kansa suggested i try it. After pulling into the parking lot and seeing the old school appearance of the place and seeing the inside, I was immediately turned on by the place. The only I was hoping for now was the food to be equally as impressive. I ordered the California style steak burger with fries. We sat down in the clean dining room and after literally 2 minutes our food was ready for pick up. It was hot and delicious. The California style burger was a big delicious and juicy mess. Definitely not something you can eat in the car, unless you want toppings all over your interior and clothes, again the burger and fries were hot, fresh and delicious. The entire atmosphere was old school and friendly, especially the cashier who explained some menu items since I’ve never been here. This is something uncommon these days when going to typical chain restaurants. My family and I will definitely be coming back to Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburger’s.

I agree with other comments I’ve read that Freddy’s is a more-expensive version of Steak ‘n Shake. I’ve never dined-in, only ordered from the drive thru. I have to say that I like their fries better than Steak ‘n Shake! Freddy’s fries are like Steak ‘n Shake’s — the shoestring kind — but Freddy’s, in my opinion, are seasoned better. Freddy’s also offers a consistent quality of fries, where it’s more hit or miss with Steak ‘n Shake. Freddy’s is generous with their fries, as well. I’ve been curious about the fry sauce, but then again, why(potentially) ruin a good thing? Bottom line, I’m a fan of Freddy’s…good food, consistent expereience, and employees are relatively friendly. I hope they expand in the St. Louis market so that they are more conveniently-located!
