His Place Resort offers Lodging, Guided Spin Fishing and Guided Fly Fishing trips for Trout on the White River in Cotter, Arkansas — Trout Capital USA.

We also offer Dock Service, John Boat & Motor Rentals, and Canoe & Kayak Rentals and Shuttles. In addition, we have excellent wade access when dam generation is low.

We have 12 lodging units ranging in size from efficiency motel-​style rooms to 3 bedroom, 2 bath units. We also have 2 tent camping sites, and a 2.5 mile nature trail starts here at the resort and ends in the Cotter Big Spring Park, a family favorite.

Family oriented, we’re also close to low cost or free activities, shopping, and various attractions.

History

Established in 2001.

This resort has been in operation, under several different owners, since approximately 1950. Our longevity is due in part to our outstanding location along the banks of the White River, tucked squarely between the public accesses of Wildcat Shoals and Cotter, where fishing is outstanding.

Although much has changed, there are some things we hope never will… like our personal love of all things trout fishing, and our genuine desire to make your fishing trip a truly memorable experience.
