I purchased a Ford Edge recently and knew before I even bought it that I was going to have the windows tinted darker than they already were. I owned two cars previously that I had limo tint installed on both by a company in Huntington Beach. The first car looked great, but the second wasn’t as dark as I thought it should have been so I started looking on Unilocal for a new tint company. I recently moved back to Costa Mesa I started looking for something local and I came across Tintwindows and their reviews were great so I requested a quote. Alex, the owner responded to my email within a few hours and the quote he provided was just right and the convenience of having his shop within walking distance of my new place sealed the deal! I was able to schedule my appointment for that weekend. When I took my Edge over to Alex he explained that the factory tint on the back windows was not removable, but that he could put darker tint over it to get the dark limo tint that I was looking for. We decided that dark tint on top of the factory tint would achieve the darkness that I wanted. I’m so glad I found Alex here on Unilocal,he did a fabulous job. I highly recommend Tintwindows and will definitely be back when I need to get any tint done in the future.

Had an appointment last Saturday, but Alex forgot to write it down. Was willing to tint my windows the same day and apologized profusely. Definitely recommend him and call him to set up an appointment.

Found Alex on Unilocal and made an appointment the very next morning. He does awesome work and takes his time to make sure his work is perfect. My car got a little dusty from being outside and he went out of his way give it a quick wash.

I called Alex on the way to pick up my brand new car from the dealership. His message invites you to text him so I did and got an immediate response. Not only was his price most competitive, but he was able to fit me in the next day.
Woke up to a reminder text from him and he even offered to take me in earlier. Really straight forward product: light, dark or darker.
2.5 hours later, I came back. He was essentially done, but saw something he didn’t like on my window so he peeled it completely off and redid the window… Now that’s genuine care. Not only that, he told me he had to upgrade the tint from the one I selected for my rear windows because it didn’t look good with the truck, no cost!
Had time to chat with Alex and he seemed like a great guy… Overall, I’d recommend anybody here for a tint!

Found Alex on Unilocal.I was able to set up an appointment via text which is very convenient. He double checked with me the morning of, to confirm our appointment. Having a reminder is helpful. It only gets better from here. When I met Alex, he was amiable, knowledgable and very helpful. He explained exactly what he was going to do and he showed me the type of tints I could do. I decided to go with limo tint all around and I absolutely love the outcome. It’s beautiful! Alex did an amazing job. Thank you so much for your hard work.

Alex is great! I got a fix it ticket for tint on my front windows and i waited till the last minute to get it removed. I called alex at Tintwindows and he told me that he can take care of me. I showed up 5 minutes later and he removed the illegal tint from my car and i was out of there in 15 minutes. I will be back and refer everyone to him.

Alex did a fantastic job on my Mazda 3. He is very knowledgeable, patient, and very easy to deal with. He offered to drop me at the mall while he worked on my car. I got the 20% charcoal for the side windows and rear windshield. The car is significantly cooler and looks sleeker with less UV penetration. No bubbling or discoloration. The job took a little over 2 hours.
I strongly recommend him and I will have my wife come back to get her car done. Thanks Alex!

This place is awesome! Great price and outstanding work. I have gotten multiple compliments from others saying how nice the tint job was. I had them tint my 2015 Subaru WRX STi and it looks beautiful. I recently got a 2016 STi and the only place that I will be taking my new car to is these guys! A+++++++ 100!

Had a great experience with Alex over the weekend after a being blessed with a large window chip.
As others have mentioned, Alex is overwhelmingly friendly and sincere about his work. He had a tech work on my windshield while he was finishing up a tint job on a BMW. Chatting with him, you get a strong sense that he’s someone who takes pride and integrity in his work. I also watched him redo a window because «it wasn’t perfect.»
Super stand up guy who does great work. I strongly recommend his business if you ever need a tint or local windshield repair.
I’ll be recommending him to friends and family from now on.

Alex was so helpful. I had a cracked window and he had someone at my complex replacing the window in less than 30 min! And the cost was half of what someone else quoted me.

Aaaaa-​freakingmazing! Great customer service, 7 days a week, tint warranty and without a doubt, the best prices in town. What more do you want!!! I show up and Alex was there to greet me. Right away Alex consults with me and explains very carefully and plainly on what my options are. He is very kind and very genuine. That is a must! We decide on what we will do to my scion XB and he gets to work. 1 hour later… Bammm! It’s done. Awesome awesome awesome. You must check them out before pulling the trigger on any other shop.

Late review. Had windows tinted here a few months ago, amazing work for a very fair price. After a few months, the tint is still rolling strong. Very happy with the service, speed, and quality of the work. Thank you again Alex!

Alex is the best at what he does. He has done like about 6 to 7 of my cars. I started to do work with Alex since 05. He has help out a lot of my friends and family with there cars, commercial and residential tint. The best guy to go see if you want it done right the first time and never have to worry about it for a long long long long long time. He’s doing my new 2014 Kia optima sxl. He also does a great job on the front windshield can’t even tell it’s on there that’s how good he is. He’s also doing one more car for me tomorrow. His workmanship is awesome.
