We understand that a renovation or new construction project comes with a mix of emotions: stress, excitement, worry, and oftentimes, it can be overwhelming. For most of us, our real estate is our most valuable asset, and upgrading our real estate is our biggest investment. It’s a major time investment as well; weeks, months, even years, and literally hundreds of decisions to be made.

We realize that most of the concerns our clients have, simply come from a lack of knowledge, or unfortunately, a bad prior experience. To alleviate some of that tension and to make sure THIS project is a great experience; Tellus will be your advisor and educator from the start. History

Established in 2005.

At the peak of the construction boom in Southern California, Tellus was born out of frustration. Fed up with an overabundance of waste, poor quality, poor health, and even poorer client service in the residential construction industry, and convinced there was a better way, Jesse Fowler and Brett Riordan founded Tellus Construction as Orange County’s first «Green» Builder. Intent on bringing sustainable building practices mainstream, and armed with a firm belief that a builder’s responsibility is to act as a client’s advocate, not their adversary, Tellus has since evolved and expanded into «Tellus Design + Build», now based in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and Costa Mesa, and performing any and every aspect of both Residential and Commercial Construction Projects including initial planning, design, permitting, general construction, and interiors and furnishings.
