Meet the Business Owner

Scott S.

Business Owner

Scott Smith, CCAM, Principal, was raised in Ohio and Connecticut and has lived in California since 1973. He received a B.A. degree from Boston University in Broadcast Journalism and afterward accepted a commission in the United States Navy serving a three year tour of duty as the Public Affairs Officer for the Naval Construction Training Center in Port Hueneme, CA.

Upon leaving the Naval Service, Scott pursued studies at Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College earning both a Th. G and B.A. degree while serving in various capacities at First Baptist Church in Costa Mesa. From 1981, Scott worked for the Cities of Irvine, Lakewood and Moorpark in Community Services and Public Works and received a B.A. in Recreation Administration from California State University, Long Beach.

Scott entered the Association management field in 1987 serving as the on-​site General Manager for a large-​scale single-​family home association in Orange County. He joined the staff of The Emmons Company in 1992 where h
